I have never been much of a gamer, but the graphics are amazing if you have a good TV. There are so many games available to play. Now, I can enjoy gaming with my son, even though we live in different areas. I would give this experience a 5 out of 5!

Bought it for myself so I can keep up with brain actions for later in life. Plus I didn't have anything but Atari  when it first came out and nothing since.  Great price and Keeps me sharp. Plus it is fun. Helps to stay connected to my son that had all of boxes growing up. Definitely reccomend the PS 5, 5 disc unit.

The smaller form factor and extra bit of storage is really nice. ALSO can I mention how easy the small acrylic feet keep the console in place? that original black disc thing was always slipping off. Now I gotta test how easy it is to install a new ssd but overall it's what you expect. a smaller more convenient ps5 with a disc drive! 

Not many people see the value in disc drives but I do. I have more than just physical games I have dvds and blurays. The reason the ps2 was the best bargain of the 2000s was that it allowed a family to play games together and watch movies. Netflix and other apps on the console is a nice bonus! I hope Sony continues supporting discs especially with gen z's physical media hype wave recently of buying more disc based media. Not trying to be a snob here I just think both streaming and discs should coexist to make PlayStation the definitive home console platform.

My only critique of the console is that you have to pay a fee to play online with friends 
I hope this can eventually change because that's one thing the pc platform has going for it is if I'm already paying for my provider why do I need to pay for online? I think the plus benefits should be seperate.

Overall great console with a strong 3rd party library that has potential to be tweaked to really make it a perfect experience

Big improvement over the release (fat) ps5

I've has my PS5 for less than a week now.  So far I'm enjoying it.  I haven't had a console since PS3 so, it's nice to be gaming again. The only real gripe I have is,  some games, like Call of Duty need an Internet connection. Even for single player campaign.  I currently don't have home Internet so, I i'm limited on what games I can play. Other than that, it's a fantastic console.

Awesome gaming console

enjoying playing 2K25 golf, get the fellow Gen X and younger family coming to play daily. Its a challenge, just order a few other games to switch it up a bit.

Happy i got 1

Works great, got the PS5 in one day from Walmart. I sold my Digital PS5 and bought this because I wanted the option to watch DVDs and play my old disc PS4 games I have. I had the extra SSD card upgrade in my old PS5, I placed it into this one and all my games were still on it too so I didn't have to format for this new PS5, the upgrading is very easy for anyone considering adding more space in the future. I was done in about 3 minutes tops, it's a bit faster than the Digital version to upgrade. So far I like the smaller size, it runs perfect might actually run a bit cooler than the fat PS5. My old one went five years without a problem before I sold it I don't foresee me having any issues with this one either. These are great systems to purchase, take it from someone who's owned one since 2020.

Sold my older PS5 for this one with a disc player

I am very happy with my purchase of the play station 5. I purchased this for my 10 year old Grand Daughter and to see the joy in her face upon receiving the gift is priceless. 
I would recommend Walmart to all of my friends and family as a store to provide all of your needs whether it is food person hygiene clothing or electronics Walmart will meet your needs.

Personal needs

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my stepdad and he absolutely loves it. He was completely shocked when he opened it . At one point he was hyperventilating and just staring at it in disbelief.  He was still in shock from the PS5. The PS5 Slim is sleek, powerful, and the perfect upgrade. He already has other consoles, but this one really stood out and made his day. Super happy with the purchase and the delivery was smooth. Highly recommend.

Perfect Gift- Huge Hit

this PS5 is awesome it's amazingly fast it came really fast today in the mail I didn't think I would ever get a PS5 and I finally did mostly because of the price point all I can say is work your butt off and you'll eventually have enough to get it, but the setup is really easy and it's super fast I'm still amazed at how fast it came in the mail today thanks Walmart

I’ve had the previous PS5 consoles in the past and ran into some financial issues later on is why I sold my last one, only difference with this model is it doesn’t have the glassy shine the the original’s had in the front.  It’s all plastic just for future heads up if you do buy this model.

Product was already opened, replacement was incorrect and opened as well. The return has been the WORSE even in my life. Service was even worse. No return of money yet after almost a month. All reps have promised resolution and nothing yet.
