This approachable Pinot Noir is full on the palate with fine-grained tannins. It features well balanced acidity and bright red fruit flavors that resolve to a long, silky-smooth finish full of the elegance and purity of cooler coastal climate that defines the Russian River Valley region of fine Pinot Noir. The natural air-conditioning allows the grapes to develop full flavor maturity over an extended growing season–often 15 to 20 percent longer than neighboring areas. Fog usually arrives in the evening, often dropping the temperature 35-40 °F. The awards that Member's Mark Russian River Pinot Noir have won include: 2020 Vintage received a 94 pts from Martin Sheehan-Stross, Advanced Certified Sommelier/Cellar Tracker. He said “Classic Russian River character here with ripe red and black cherry tones accented by notes of cola nut and berry leaf. Medium-bodied, the structure balances the fruit-forward nature of the wine perfectly, with fine tannin and refreshing acidity persisting on the long finish.” It uses juice sourced from Laguna Ridge region of the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, CA and is aged 16 months in French and American Oak barrels. Pinot Noir is more delicate, acidic, and lower tannin than most other red wines, it is best showcased slightly chilled at 55-60°F. Love it.  Anything from the Russian River Valley is usually good & this was did not disappoint!

Great wine & great price

My wife enjoys her wines, and is a wine club member at two vineyards.  Together we attend wine tastings, sample wines at different vineyards and wine fairs, and maintain a very enjoyable inventory for daily consumption and special occasions.  We've been enjoying this Pinot Noir 2020 Vintage for several months as a daily drinker.  Low acidity, medium tannins, and a slight sweetness makes it a palate pleaser.
