We operate a catering business and we use this all the time. It  adds to the flavor of the chicken. We really like it since they have reduced the salt content.

Tone's Chicken Base

Very good! We use this to make broth for recipes or just to add more chicken flavor to other chicken dishes. A lot easier to use than those hard cubes & a lot cheaper than pre-made broths. Also easier to store.

Best chicken flavoring!

I use this all the time.  Instead of just water, I add some of this chicken base and really kicks a recipe up.  I use this instead of buying chicken broth.  It does have right much salt, so be careful adding salt to your recipe until you have tasted it.  Way more economical than chicken broth.  I always have a jar or two on hand.

Wonderful chicken base.

This chicken base adds a rich salty savory flavor to a variety of dishes.  Used in chicken soup or dressing in place of salt and broth intensifies the chicken flavor.  This gives an added hearty, savory dimension if used in other dishes in place of plain salt - such as chili, potatoes, just about any soup.  I like it made as a hot drink.

Rather than buy pricey chicken broth, I keep one of these in the fridge at all times. You can use as little or as much at s time as you need & it doesn't go bad for a long time, unlike an open container of broth. I use it for soups, sauces, you name it. Great stuff!

Best stuff!

This is one of the things I cannot be without in my kitchen. It adds so much flavor to soups and stews. I also like the beef soup base,  and was so happy when it became gluten free. Now, if Tones would just make the taco seasoning gluten free as well, I'd be even happier.

Great stuff!

Makes a great chicken stock with little or no effort.  Can be adjusted to meet a taste level.  Also used in making gravy, marinades and dips.  There is always a Tone's chicken AND  beef base in the refrigerator ready for use - without taking up any space.  Can't imagine going back to packaged broths or bullion!

I have used this chicken base for many years and nothing comes close to Flavoring my chicken & dumplings, chicken or turkey noodle soup and chicken & rice dishes as well as this Tone's Base does. Thick,strong and salty-So use sparingly and always mix with small amount of water first.

YUMMY Flavored

I use 3 Tbls for large pot of water for Chx Soup Base. Add your meat off Rotisserie chicken, cut up carrotts, onions , make dumplings & you have the best soup ever! And fast to make!. I always but a few Rotisserie chickens and pluck the meat off when warm and freeze it for future soup. Easy!

Makes the best Chicken Soup Base.

I am so happy that I found this members mark chicken base. I use another brand that became very hard to find during and after the pandemic. This is very tasty and works well in the recipes. I have used it in. From rice pilaf to 15 bean soup to straight up chicken noodle soup. It has surpassed my expectations. Thanks for a great product!

New Favorite

The taste wasn't great. We put it in a pot of beans. It ended up making our whole family have upset stomachs (and spending a lot of time in bathrooms). I know it was this because it is the only thing we all ate that day and the only thing that was different than how we normally make them. I was hoping it would be a good replacement for chicken stock flavor, but was disappointed
