Absolutley darling
This is a great tureen. Not too big, not too small. Its is a nice quality, and since it is white, it will go with many colors of place settings - and probably look pretty good on top of your cabinets for storage - especially if you have one of this ever popular "white " kitchens. The tureen can be used for an every day meal , or for an occasion that inspires you to set an especially lovely table . I got one for myself and one for one of my daughters. I make it a point to use some pumpkin bowls with lids ( which I have had for numerous years) from another company in the fall, and I will no doubt use this as well for other meals. I highly recommend it . the price is extremely reasonable, these will probably sell out, and you will keep it for years, is my guess. It will also make a really great gift for someone, and you can just have Sam's ship it right to them - or give it to them in person. Life is short, buy the pumpkin Tureen, use it, or gift it. It adds a bit of " happy" to your meals.

The only thing that was a negative is the ladle. There were 3 non-glazed points where I imagine used for firing.
