My wife and I got our shed about a month ago and we absolutely love it! The two of us put it together ourselves, and I will day it took some time. We worked for 20+ hours over two days and got it done though. As long as you take your time and read the instructions thoroughly, you'll be just fine. Again, we LOVE This shed!

Amazing Shed!!!

I like this little shed. You have to follow the directions, and maybe read ten steps ahead to understand where you are going with it, but they have their reasons for why they have you put it together the way they do. It looks nice and holds quite a bit.

I read the reviews before purchasing and was pleased to see so many positive reviews. The shed came 3 weeks early, I followed the instructions to the letter and the shed went together like a dream. Made sure the foundation was level and square, so much so, I didn't need any shims to make the doors align perfectly.

Best Shed Ever!

This is our 2nd Lifetime Storage Building. The first is 7 years old. The building was easy to assemble for two senior citizens (65 and 72). One day for building the base, one for sorting parts and pre assembly and one for assembly. The shed is beautiful and sturdy. Waiting for rain to check for any leaks. Our first building had no water, insects, etc. this one is bigger and a different design. So far so great!

Lifetime Storage Forever

Our shed came in and I completed the build a couple of weeks ago.  For others out there wondering, yes - it can be built by one person.  However, at least one extra set of hands would make it go much faster and easier on the body.  With that said, I am pleased with the aesthetics of the shed in our yard and the space that it provides for us.

I would purchase again if needed, as I'm sure that we will enjoy for years to come.  The only thing that held it from 5 stars for us is that it seems a bit flimsy, even after all of the supports are in place and the unit is complete.  I'm sure that it will be fine for our needs and geography, but I notice that there is still a slight bowing of the walls/ windows.  This is probably long thought out and tested by the company, and used to keep shipping weight down and material costs affordable.

Again, we are thrilled with the shed!

Essentially this product meets my expectations for additional space at an affordable price.  It is also fairly attractive.  The devil lies in the details involved in actually constructing it.  For example, it is telling that outside help is available (understandably for a cost) to assemble the shed.  Excluding pouring a concrete base, no one that I could find is available to help construct the foundation which supports the structure-a critical step.  

The instructions are accurate but not necessarily easy to follow.  One needs to be quite handy to successfully follow the process.  I quickly discovered the difference in working with plastic v.wood (screwing into the former requires a different touch than the latter).  I had the good sense and advantage of having the services of a good friend who is experienced in hands-on projects.  I literally would have been over-matched without him, not to mention the assortment of auxiliary tools he brought to facilitate construction.  

He and I worked together most of the time.  My two adult sons were instrumental in the phase of assembling the walls and roof.  It took us two about six days-about 5/6 hours each day-to complete.  It was longer and more challenging than I thought, but then again I was in unfamiliar territory.  Undertaking the project in fairly cold weather (upper 30's-low40's) didn't help.

I was missing two non-essential components.  A call to the manufacturer quickly rectified that issue.

In summary, I am reminded of a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson: "The best part of a job well done is that it is done."

BePrepared!

I just ordered this shed and finished constructing it two days ago.  I received the shed a few days ahead of time, and after building the base, it took me about 2 full days too build without help.  My only suggestion is too have the pictures in the directions a little bit bigger, asit is hard to understand what they are suggesting some times.  I am very happy so far with this's product so far.

Great value

I am about halfway assembled. A lot of the parts are not labeled. three boxes were loaded top to bottom  
box 2 of 3, then box 3 of 3 and finally box 1 of 3. Instructions were in box 3. After I identified the parts,
I placed the hardware in bags marking their identifying them.

When you purchase this shed. You are not told that it is a curb side delivery and it weighs about 800 lbs.You get this information when it's time for it to be taken off the truck. Luckily my husband knows the guys at Uhaul who rented him a truck where he had the driver slide it on to the Uhaul and was able to drive it to the back yard. It took about four days to figure it all out and it takes two people to assemble. After all is said and done, we are satisfied with the outcome. The shed is sturdy for what is and looks just like the picture. To expound on the questions below. I would recommend that my friends purchase only if they were told what to expect and could make the decision on the facts.

What you are not told at purchase

I just set the shed up in the last week, first attempt to set up failed because the end cap floor section was short width-wise by about .5 inch.  Lifetime expedited out two new floor panels and a replacement wall section with windows that was warped.  Unfortunately, the replacement wall section was brown so I ended up forcing in the original warped one—-not perfect but making it work.  The customer service isn't bad, I won't say that because they did expedite out the parts but less then desired for a $2K purchase.  The assembly is not a half a day job unless you build the sheds regularly, I would plan for about 12 hours with a least one other handy adult—having built this one, I could probably do another in about 6-8 hours with help.

Purchase With Some Caution

This was a million piece erector set. There was zero prefab n the directions were hard to follow. The pieces were not consistently numbered so you spent hours figuring out the parts.  This was 3 huge boxes with the same pieces split between all three boxes. Therefore you had to empty all boxes multiple times to find what you need. I wanted to chuck this in the truck and dump it back at Sams cause of the frustration levels.   There were missed instructions that were not discovered until you were multiple steps on. Therefore have to demo n do over. Ugh!!!!!!! This happened several times because there were no mention of this problem in the assembly part. This is a house of cards that I am hoping stands up to a very stiff wind. Dans should have paid me to put this mess together ! I would have given it no stars but that wasn't an option.
