I bought this a couple weeks ago and the extra room in the freezer drawer (compared with the top freezer we had) has been very useful.  Ours didn't come with the shelf that can slide back to make room for higher items; I think this would've been a useful feature to get. Overall, it looks great, works well, and is  quiet!

It was the only one we found this nice. Other “short” refrigerators were more like something uou would put in a garage as an extra. This is a very deep unit so using baskets on the shelves helps to keep it organized and contents easily accessible.

Awesome fridge

We bought this refrigerator to replace our old one. This fit our space perfectly, and requires no modifications to our current cupboards. The kids love the water feature on the door. The internal ice box is a great feature as well as we used to have silicone ice cube trays, the stainless steel finish is amazing

I love colorful produce and the open drawers and roomy shelves are a gorgeous home for our food. I love the big freezer that I can easily access without squeezing into a tiny freezer. Cooking has a whole new definition!

Great use of space

That said, it has all the options we were looking for, not a complicated door with too many tricky options, and yet offers three kinds of ice! it is quiet, looks nice and really works great. I highly recommend it.  We even purchased LG's extended warranty to protect it through the years.

I was so happy with that refrigerator. l sold the house in San Francisco and moved down to Vista and bought a house that had an LG refrigerator. I had a slight problem where it wasn’t cooling on an LG repairman came out and fixed it with such a wonderful attitude and help me in solving the problem I making two trips to me to fix it.

After extensive research, I decided to purchase an LG French door refrigerator. It wasn’t love at first sight since instead of the doors closing solidly on their own I was always having to hear the alarm go off indicating that I had to go back and be sure the door was closed… never had to do that with any other refrigerator before. But the kicker is that after having the refrigerator for 2 years, the compressor went out. LG is supposed to be a solid appliance. All of my food (6 bags ) had to be tossed. Even though it was still under warranty, I don’t trust it. I don’t stock up on food anymore(more expensive trips to the grocery store) and I purchased a mini fridge to keep in the kitchen just in case it goes out again which I’m thinking is a strong possibility since replacing a major component in a 2 year old refrigerator isn’t a good sign of longevity. Needless to say, my faith in LG products has been greatly reduced.
