    Glad I waited.

Good little generator. Can run my rv air and microwave and tv at the same time. So it will easily Handel the air a few other things with out over working. I only have about 8 hours on it so far but it has worked great. Make sure to run it a half hour and change oil. I then ran an hour at a little heavier load and changed it again. Glad I waited buying it when I first seen it because I payed considerably less at sams club.

    Decent Generator

I bought this generator and it had a faulty CO sensor right out of the box. After numerous texts/calls to Genmax, I finally got a response back and they shipped me a new CO sensor which I installed myself. This is why I rated it only 3 stars. After getting the generator running, these are the pro/cons that I came up with: Pros: Seems like a decent generator Much lighter than the competition Easy starting and operating either with remote or manually Like the EFI as I operate it in various elevations Does have helpful customer support but quite slow to respond Like the telescopic handle for moving generator Control panel has lots of features Costs less than the competitors Cons: Does not have the power that it says it has. Will operate my 13500 air conditioner and microwave at the same time but it struggles Slow customer service Only 1 year warranty Seems to use more fuel than advertised A bit loud when under load I will do a follow up review after 1 years use

So far so good, I'm happy with this generator

5 stars so far. I bought this generator because its size meets my needs, not my pocketbook. I currently have 85+ hours on it so far. The pros so far meet all my needs versus the cons. If you buy a generator to run it at the max running watts, you're buying too small and will be unhappy with noise and performance. Pros: -The weight (about 60lbs), I'm 55 and picking up the predator 3500 or 5000 (over 100 lbs)is finally too heavy for me to be picking up by myself to put in the back of my 4x4 dually. Genmax also makes an external fuel pump I'm purchasing, plus a 6 gallon boat fuel tank to give me about 7 1/2 gallons of fuel for 20 to 30 hours of run time. 6 gallons of fuel weighs about 50 lbs, so I'll appreciate having those separate for transportation. -The remote start/stop works as it should. -Same for the push button start. -Pull start works as well, but I was not able to pull start with battery disconnected (5 tries), but it's fuel injected and needs power to pressurize the fuel. -easily runs my rv 13.5k a/c (no softstart installed) at 1600 watts, and it's just as quiet as my predator 3500. No problems with a/c, tv, lights, and microwave running at the same time. Cons: - So far, the only con on these newer generators is the co sensors (all makes and models, tons of YouTube videos on this subject) . On our in the machine is the worst place possible to mount these. If the government requires this feature, it should come separate for you to take inside where it matters. I could easily point the generator at an open window and suffocate without it ever shutting down. My co sensor new out of the wouldn't let it run more than 7 minutes. I emailed Genmax (took 2 emails) to get them all the info they needed. It takes them about 3 business days to respond to an email. I'm my case it 8 to 10 days before I received a message my new co has shipped. Parts in hand 14+ days after 1st communication by email. Calling for service seems to be a thing of the past if you want someone who speaks English as a first language. This is why I chose the email route. Other notes, I did call Genmax a year earlier before purchase (yes, I'm slow with purchases like this) and was able to talk to their service department (Around 11/11/2023) and actually got an English speaking person in California. I questioned this model 4800 over the 4600 they sell at other retailers, and I was assured it could handle the 4800 starting watts and that parts are accessible. I wasn't able to plug enough in to reach or exceed 4800 watts. Final thoughts: I'm extremely happy with my purchase so far. How long will the electronics work with the fuel injections? Who knows....
