Make your latte @home...much better, much less $$

My old De'Longhi Magnifica finally 'passed on' after SEVENTEEN YEARS, and I was so bummed. Then I found this on Sam's online and immediately had it shipped. It is even BETTER than my old machine. I'm so glad I bought this again. #stillnotgoingbacktoStarbucks :-)

Best value espresso machine on the market!

I replaced my 10 years old De'Longhi magnifica for this new model and I did not expect that much of a change. But WOW! What an upgrade I got. This machine does a very thick and good crema and really extract the taste of the coffee. This is quite an experience! Even if this is still a fast grinder, the machine is a lot more silent than before. They also upgraded the water tank so that you don't have to fill it often. It also provides a coffee very hot, which is not always the case for all machines of this type. Seriously, you'll get a very high quality coffee and as good as machines 3 or 4 times higher in prices.

So far so good

I have owned various Jura Superautomatic Espresso makers over the past 10 years. Because the brew unit is buried deep inside the Jura, and not customer serviceable every 2-3 years it had to be sent to Jura service to be cleaned. This was $400 each time and left me without the coffee maker for 4 weeks. This De'Longhi has a removable brew unit which I have been rinsing easily every night. Time will tell if this lasts more than the couple of years of the Jura, but $400 for a new one of these beats the $2000 cost of the Jura, even if I had to buy a new one each time. As for the coffee quality it seems to be slightly below the Jura, but miles above any drip you could own.
