This is my 3rd HomePod mini to fill out the sound in the living area of our home.  I use them only as speakers, though I realize they are versatile in many other ways.  They are the best option I have found for great sound in an unobtrusive size, and I recommend this product highly.

Large sound; Small package

I love the quality of the music and the quickness of Siri. But it should come with instructions. I hate having to go to google with my problems. How much could it cost them to add an instruction booklet.

Love my mini pods

So far so good.  Haven’t had it long.  But it was easy to set up.  Even my 3 1/2 year-old granddaughter can use it.   My seven-year-old granddaughter loves it.

My elderly dad enjoys listening to his oldies with this HomePod mini. He isn’t a fan of complicated technology, so this works well for him. He just says “hey Siri play oldies”, and it plays his songs!

The HomePod sounds great and works really well in the Apple landscape. Really like casting music to multiple pods at once. 
The price at Sam’s was great and shipping was fast.

Good sounding for little speaker

If you value privacy, this is the only smart home assistant you should consider. Just note that HomeKit enabled accessories are still hard to find, and often come at a premium.

I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max, so I assumed a HomePod mini would work well with my phone: Wrong. Somehow there's a delay in playing Spotify when connecting to the speaker. It's an odd nightmare to get such a delay from a device designed for an iPhone. After using it for less than 2 weeks, the delays became a tad annoying, so I returned it and got a Sony BlueTooth Speaker, which works (and sounds) 10x better. Bad experience? Yes.
