We have been in the market for a 4K projector for a while now and had a hard time deciding. We have a dedicated 1080p projector in our lower level that is almost 13 years old. It is only a matter of time before it goes. This new projector has a lot of features and versatility for a reasonable price that met our criteria. The criteria: 4K resolution, built in streaming apps, ability to be moved from room to room. The price point for such features are unmatched. The projector has a self alignment and auto focus feature that makes placement a breeze. It is not done optically but digitally so you lose some pixels. It doesn't seem to hinder image quality in the slightest. We stream movies and play video games on it. It goes to different rooms in our house, the built in audio is outstanding and has the ability to connect to an external audio system via HDMI eARC, optical or Bluetooth. It runs on Android software so you can download apps from the Google Play store and there lots of options. We can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can set it up outside for drive in movies and games. It has been a lot of fun for our family. This projector is been so easy to use and we couldn't be happier with our purchase.

Great projector, lots of features and versatile!

Most of the setup is automated which is fortunate because the low contrast gray on white tiny font documentation is pretty thoughtless. 

You will need the stand.  The projector has no traditional feet so why the stand isn't normally included is a mystery. You'd be stuck with propping the projector up to get it into a usable position. I researched this projector and am surprised this wasn't mentioned.

You must link the remote to the projector before it functions. You also shift the pointers around to each corner to manually tweak the keystone adjustments. Could've saved a half hour of stumbling around if these were made clear upfront on a quick start sheet.

The picture is great so far.


Through Google it automatically found my router and set everything up. Nice.

Great little projector.

This didn’t replace my TV… it retired it. The XGIMI Horizon Pro is an absolute monster. The 4K picture is stupid sharp, colors are loud, setup takes minutes, and the speakers hit way harder than a projector should. I’m watching movies, sports, and gaming on a WALL now and questioning why TVs even exist. Zero regrets, insane value.

I've owned the xgimi h1 and h2 also this model horizon pro.  
They last about 2 to 2 1/2 years before the dreaded dead pixel syndrome. After that the brightness starts to diminish 
Good projector if you plan on buying another in a couple years

I redeemed the code for the free stand over 2 weeks ago. I still havent gotten it. Contacted xgimi customer support and they say they know nothing about a free stand and to contact sams. Contact sams and I'm told to contact the manufacturer because thats who will send it.
