Product details

The Wüsthof Gourmet 7-Piece Knife Block Set is a versatile and high-quality selection crafted for cooks of all levels who value precision and comfort in their kitchen tools. Made in Solingen, Germany—a region famous for premium cutlery—each knife in this set is crafted from high-carbon stainless steel and laser-cut for sharpness and reliability. Unlike heavier forged knives, the stamped blades of the Gourmet series offer a lighter feel, providing better control for intricate cuts while maintaining durability and strength. The ergonomic, synthetic handles are designed to fit comfortably in the hand, minimizing strain during extended use. Triple-riveted for stability, each knife has a full-tang construction that distributes weight evenly, making them feel balanced and secure. This set includes seven essential pieces: from a paring knife perfect for precision work to an 8-inch chef’s knife that’s great for larger chopping tasks. The 8-inch bread knife effortlessly slices through crusty loaves, while kitchen shears add functionality for various kitchen needs. An attractive 15-slot wooden storage block keeps all pieces organized, with extra slots to expand your collection as you add tools over time. Gourmet, not Classic

This item has a major typo in the description/title. This set is Gourmet Series, NOT Classis Series. Why it matters: - Classic Series is forged high carbon steel and has a full bolster. These knives have a full lifetime warranty and are a heavy, stronger, blade with superior edge retention - Gourmet Series is laser cut from a sheet of high carbon steel. This is more of a stamping process and is not at all the same as forged. The knives are still good quality, but they carry is limited lifetime warranty (not full) and are softer due to not being forged. This means the edge is more suceptable to rolling and will need more frequent honing and sharpening. Sams refunded purchase,so everything was made right. Excellent customer service. They just need to correct this listing to clarify they are Gourmet Series.

Incorrect Sams club description.

Buyer beware. These are not the Classic forged knives as shown in the pictures and advertised. The knives i receive are the Gourmet Stampted steel knives. Sams Club needs to update the pictures and description.

NOT THE CLASSIC KNIVES

THESE ARE NOT THE CLASSIC KNIVES! They are the gourmet ones which are of a much lesser quality. Very misleading.
