If you live in apartment where gasoline or gas generators are not allowed, this battery is an excellent alternative. You can connect a variety of devices (e.g. floor fan, lamps, cell phone charging, laptop, internet, TV, among others). Keep in mind that maybe you will need extension cords. You can connect a refrigerator although you must keep in mind the watts because that will impact how long the battery will last.

Great choice for Apartments!

I bought MP 1000 portable unit from Sam’s Club 
It is a solid unit reasonably priced with so many features.
I took it for camping and used it to run my CPAP machine for sleep apnea average 8 hours a night for 7 nights and charging my phone lasted on a single charge amazing.
During recent power outage with rain storm used it to run small electric heater charging phones run microwave 
I have roof solar panels I charge it and use it to run my computer and monitor save me on electric bills 
Overall very satisfied highly recommend purchasing it.

My Best Choice

I got this at Sam's and find it very easy to use.  Has a lot of features like all the USB ports and the AC - been using it to wirelessly charge my phone also.  I was surprised how long the Lithium battery lasts.  Gonna take it to the beach for coffee maker and blender.  Love it.  I recommend it.

Great Power Station

Really good power station, has awesome features like Sin AC power for delicate power needs. Charges pretty fast, got a full charge from wall outlet in 8-10 hours. My only dissatisfaction is that there was not specification or any mention of the the life cycle of the power station and I guess that should've been a red flag. You can only find it in the user manual once you've bought it and look in, the MP330, MP500 and MP1000 has a life cycle of 800 up to 60% capacity. Which for an item like this for this price is extremely low while orthers are rated to 3000  cycles up to 80% capacity.

Wish it was better.

The original advertisement stated “SOLAR POWERED”. That’s why I bought it.  I’ve been through many hurricanes.  This product worked well for several days.  We were able to run the coffee pot and a small toaster.  It could not handle the toaster oven.  We were able to charge our cell phones and IPad.  When I went to recharge this unit I found out, to my chagrin, that the solar component is an add on.  Boo Hoo to me.  We were high and dry for several more days.  That’s why I did not give it 5 stars.
