Westinghouse 1.7 in. 15 Amp Electric Wood Chipper and Shredder

A lot of reviews I read were positive so I was hopeful this would be a good purchase. This is the first time in a long time I've been extremely disappointed in a product. I have lots of palm trees in my back yard, and I bought this to mulch up the fronds after I trim them. I don't even get a full bag of mulch before the blades start going dull and it stops being able to cut things. There is a huge gap between the anvil of this machine and the cutting blade, meaning it relies heavily on the sharpness of the blade to create mulch. This means after a period of time mulching branches (in my case, a very brief period of time), they start coming out in long strips instead of chips and I need to press firmly to get it to cut. I can clearly hear motor strain occurring when this happens. The first time out of the box it worked great for one full bag of mulch, after that it has worked absolutely terribly. I was opening it and clearing the clog after EVERY SINGLE BRANCH. It sure seems like others' experiences are more positive, but for my application this has failed with flying colors. Even when I replace the blades they are already dull before the bag fills up.
