End-grain chopping boards are made from the short pieces of lumber—in this case, durable, authentic Brazilian teak wood— that are grafted together vertically with the end pieces making up the surface. From a thick piece of meat to your favorite fruits and vegetables, this board is the way to go. Not only is the board perfect for all of your chopping needs, but due to its beauty, it can also double as the serving board all your guests will love. The board’s dense surface makes it more stable during use. The carved-out groove along the edge of the board catches any juice or liquid that might drizzle down the sides, so it will not drip off the board. Hand-wash immediately after every use with warm soapy water and use food grade mineral oil when necessary to recondition the board, in order to keep it in pristine condition. We purchased a second one for a gift after enjoying ours for many years. It is sturdy, beautiful yet lightweight enough that it’s not a chore to pull out like our other endgrain cutting board. The trough is super handy. After chopping on it for years it’s still as smooth and beautiful as when we first got it. I highly recommend end grain boards over bamboo.

Excellent Quality!

Wanted a coffee station to set my coffee maker on and I love this Teak Wood just for that.  It raises and is just the right size for what I wanted.  Yes, I know it is a cutting board but I wanted it to protect my quartz counter from the coffee stains and it is perfect.

I absolutely love this board. I use it regularly, and it still looks new and beautiful. It remains displayed in my kitchen when not in use and receives compliments often. I have given it as gifts also, and I will give more because the recipients always love it. I wish there was an option half the size to add to my kitchen as well.

I didn't need s cutting board but I remember how much I spent on one a few months ago and this one seemed nice from the pictures. It is very nice, and I have seen comparable ones go for double the price. I bought this one on sale but if I needed one and it wasn't on sale, then I would still purchase it.

I love cutting boards and this one stands out from the rest!!! Love this!!!!

Cutting board looks amazing and stands up great!

Its pretty, but unfinished. It diesnt have a finish on it. I sanded with 200, 400, 800 and 1200, then finished with food grade epoxy. Something this price shoud be a finished priduct, i shouldnt have needed a band aid for a splinter.

Worth it if you have skills to compleye the item.

After the first couple of washes , it is very rough to the touch.
