Sturdy and Versatile Outdoor Shed

The Sonata 12' x 10' Outdoor Wood Shed is a robust and versatile structure perfect for a variety of uses. Whether you're dreaming of a detached office, a workout space, or simply need extra storage, this large shed is the ideal solution. It features a durable Palram Suntop™ Polycarbonate roof system that won't rust or corrode, and extra-wide double doors for easy access to large equipment. The shed also includes an interior loft, a shelf, and an operable window for added convenience.

Quality Construction

Handy Home Products wood sheds are built to last. Unlike plastic sheds that warp or metal sheds that rust, these sheds are designed to withstand the elements. The polycarbonate roof and heavy-duty framing can hold up against heavy snow and strong winds. The exterior paneling provides superior protection against hail, wind, moisture, decay, and termites. You can choose to build it yourself with a DIY kit or have it professionally installed on-site.

DIY Kit

The ready-to-assemble DIY kit includes everything you need to install the shed yourself in as little as one weekend. The kit comes with pre-cut wood materials, a complete floor system, a complete roof system, fasteners, a handle, and detailed instructions. The siding is pre-primed, so all you need to do after assembly is paint it and caulk the joints to waterproof it. Please ensure your chosen spot for the shed is on high ground where water won't pool and leave room on all sides for painting. The build site should be free from trees, shrubs, and level within 6 inches.

Professional Installation

If you prefer professional installation, Handy Home Products will contact you a few days after purchase to schedule your installation. The price includes delivery, professional installation, and a 10-year limited material warranty. You will need to paint and caulk the shed to waterproof it within 30 days of the installation. The build site should be free from trees, shrubs, limbs, or other debris and level within 6 inches. Your installer will level up to 6 inches at no additional charge. Additional charges will apply if your site is out of level by more than 6 inches but less than 18 inches. You’ll also need to provide access to electricity within 150 feet of the unit.

Permits and Permissions

Before purchasing a shed, check with your local municipality and/or homeowners association to determine what permits and permissions are required. Please also check your local HOA, zoning laws, and site dimensions for shed use and installation requirements. Site prep and foundation are required but not included.

Great shed exactly what we wanted

Our delivery on this shed was seemless, vendor realized they forgot the nails and delivered them the next day. Took 3 men about 18 hours to put together. Had one cracked roof sheet but they sent extra so it all worked out. Great value and quality highly recommend.

The perfect shed for my backyard!

I purchased the Sonata shed and love it. It's well built with high quality lumber. The large double doors make it easy to get all of our stuff in and out. Plus it holds everything! My family uses it for lawn equipment, kids' toys, and whatever else we fancy at the time. The high back walls with shelves are great for organizing too! Couldn't be happier with our purchase.

Great Shed - Product Description a Little Murky

Great, sturdy shed. I did the DIY route and had fun building with my 2 sons over the course of 3 weekends. That said, i could build it a whole lot faster after finding my way through the first time. 1 day would be tough but 2 is doable if you lay everything out and have a few friends to help. It can be done with 2 but certain steps like standing up the walls and attaching joists were way easier with 3 people. Installing the roof panels was tricky because the pitch is so steep and your trying to hold yourself up on plywood with no good footholds. I would recommend going with gravel base as this comes with an elevated flooring system that can be set right on gravel. That wasn’t clear (to me) in the description. I learned that after my concrete pad had been poured and now i have a bunch of extra wood for a TBD project. Overall it came out great and wife is happy with it and i can say “i did that!”
