I have been using this in my garage and it's an easily accessible place to drop the garbage from my car as I walk in the house.  Car is kept clean because it's become a habit!  Love it!  Really would look great in a kitchen too if you don't mind the open top.

I've gone through so many trash cans with foot pedals that snap after a month or sensors that just stop working. I finally gave up and bought this open-top 2-pack, and I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner. It's so much easier when you're scraping a plate or have your hands full of raw chicken—you just toss it in.
It's a 16-gallon, so it's slightly bigger than the standard kitchen size, which is great because I'm not emptying it every five minutes. The stainless steel actually stays looking clean thanks to the smudge-resistant finish, and it doesn't slide around on my hardwood. I highly recommend these bins.

The Simpli-Magic 16 Gallon (60L) Open Top Trash Can has been very beneficial at my venue. It has a sleek and clean appearance. The metal appearance top is nice looking and easy to use. The tall kitchen bags fit perfectly. It is light weight and easy to move. It fits well in smaller spaces. I am very pleased with this trash can.

This trash can looks good and functions well.  It's roomy and sturdy. I didn't think I would like it because it doesn't have a lid however I do! The opening is large enough to fit everything I've put in it. It's a little taller than the trash bin I was using previously. The “tall kitchen trash can liners” fit well but it seems like it would hold a larger liner. I didn't have any between the kitchen size and a lawn/leaf bag which is too big so I didn't test it. This can definitely won't fit under a typical counter. If you're looking for a nice free standing trash can, I recommend this one.

The can works well with a standard 13-gallon trash bag, though it is possible to use a larger bag if needed. Personally, I am satisfied with the fit and convenience of the 13-gallon size. The overall appearance is clean and modern, blending seamlessly into my workspace without giving off a commercial vibe.

The Simpli-Magic 16 gallon open top trash can is well made and sturdy. I find it would be more suitable for a business/industrial type situation more so than a residential setting. It holds quite a bit of waste. It is difficult to move as there are no handles or lip to grasp
