I recently ordered an 8 inch sample of the Select Surfaces Davenport vinyl flooring to see if it would be a good fit for my kitchen. I am so glad I did! I really like the gray sample we received.  We’ve been trying to find an option for our kitchen flooring in our house.  This product seems very durable and we’re really thinking about buying enough to go our remodel.

Love the Color!!  Great Product!

First of all, absolutely love the color!!! The boards seem to be durable and tough lasting. The texture of the boards are just the right amount for feel for the bare foot. I plan on getting other colors of these boards for my next room project.

Great floor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the color and how smooth it feels. I will use tjis for my livingroom floor and absolutely gives it a great fancy look. Super easy to install and the color is dark but shiny.  The surface is not slippery or hard to clean.

I would like to have seen more of it but appreciate the change to see it. Thank you. I liked the color very much. It is something I might like to replace in my entire house.

Nice sample

I was sent a 6“ x 6“ sample. The sample appears to be pretty good poly quality. The ellipse used to connect the decking together seems a bit on the thin side but appears like it would interlock well. The piece is solid poly all the way through, so this would make it very water resistant. The decking has a thin backing to help with cushioning. The surface texture is very wood like in appearance and feel. The color options are very nice. I used a pair of kitchen shears and was almost able to cut through the piece. Sharp metal dragged across lift a very deep scrape, which could be buffed out potentially with some very high grit sandpaper.  Dragging a sharp edge a crossed left marks that again could be buffed out.

Looks good

This seems to be really sturdy and well made.  My husband and I attempted to scratch it up with a spoon, key, and even did the famous “nickel” test.  We would see faint lines, but once we wiped the sample, it seemed to self heal and the scratches would disappear.  If you held it to direct light, you could see a VERY faint scratch from the key.  I even ran it under water and when I pulled it out from under the faucet, the water beaded up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This floor covering has an easy to put together slice and lock system where each piece can connect without struggle.

The color of this one is a bit dependent on the lighting and walls.  It some light, this to me is a darker grey almost brown.  In brighter lights, this color is a nice grey woodgrain.

The floor covering has a texture on it that makes me a bit concerned about the eventual build up of dirt and grime.  My previous floor covering that was a wood look had a smooth surface without issue.  This is to be determined...

Real Look & Feel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Select surfaces Mackenzie flooring is a nice dark gray color. The flooring is a good thickness and pretty sturdy. I like that the flooring has some give to it so it is a little squishy and not just a hard flat surface.
