This Sandbox features a retractable canopy that's designed to keep kids cool and shaded. The canopy angle and height is adjustable. When in a closed position, which is recommended when the item is not in use, the canopy keeps out debris, small animals and insects. The sandbox is made of kiln-dried Canadian hemlock with an oil-based stain to enhance its appearance and durability. Minimal assembly is required and hardware is included.

Love this sandbox!!! Bought it for my grandson for his 2nd birthday. Super easy to put together.it took about 45 mins. With the canopy that doubles a cover it looks cool and beachy. This sandbox was a hit. A must have! We used six 50lbs. bags of sand to fill it. Perfect Gift.

Awesome but a bit flimsy

Arrived quickly all parts included. Put it together by myself while watching my three little ones in about 2 hrs. I used 5 50lb bags of sand but 3-4 probably would work. The canopy is why I took a star off. The entire sandbox has issues and really need to make sure it’s on a very flat even surface. The canopy was the hardest to put together. It’s the flimsiest portion and has already broke. All I did was slightly pick a side up to let water roll off the opposite side and the corner split. I was able to use outdoor heavy duty tape to mend it. Overall my kids love it and spend hours playing in it which the canopy, although flimsy, does a great job blocking the sun and keeping the sand dry when it’s raining.
