Have been looking for a drop bottom duffel to replace one I've been using for years.  This is perfect!  Very well made.   Has a removable shoulder strap that comes in handy.  Definitely works as a weekender or even longer.

Perfect size

Sturdy, well-made duffel with plenty of space. The drop bottom compartment is perfect for keeping shoes or dirty clothes separate.

Solid purchase

This was such a great find! I've been looking for a suitable weekend bag, and this one is a winner. There's even a compartment zipper at the bottom of the bag that has enough room for a size 12 shoe and extra space.

A No Regret Purchase

Very stylish and light. Not bad for the price, either.

Great Carry-on Bag

I am disappointed that this really nice bag does not meet airline requirements to be used as a personal item.  It is very well made, and I had no trouble with the zipper at all.  
Personal item dimensions for airlines are now 18 x 14 x 8.  The Samsonite bag measures 19 x 14.5 x 9.  I noticed how the dimensions were left out of the description on this website.  I took a chance and ordered it online.  I picked up at the store and brought it home and measured.  I have no choice but to return it now.

Nice Bag but too large for Airline Per Item

Great weekend getaway bag. Fits the essentials securely.

Perfect bag for weekend.

Size is great, we took ours as a carry-on for a 7 day cruise. The zipper was a little stiff at first as it rounds the corners of the bag, but seems to improve with use and practice. The sleeve to attach to a roll-aboard handle is slightly too thin to be ideal and was pretty tight going over the handle once the bag was full, but was still functional. We purchased two bags- black for my husband and navy for myself. Both did the trick and functioned well for our trip. Definitely a good value overall and the minor things noted are just that -- very minor.

Samsonite Weekender bag

Beautiful Bag, but a bit heavy for a carry on especially when full.  Works well will a roller computer bag, but otherwise it is wide to carry over the shoulder, and took some getting used to.  The zipper is difficult to close when full.

Loved the look but zipper is hard to close

This bag is nearly perfect but the zipper is hard to use. It has a hinge on the top of the bag and if the bag isn't positioned exactly so it is hard to zip the bag. That is not something I can live with so this will be returned.
