Walk like a dinosaur in the Rubies Original Child Inflatable T-Rex Costume. This lightweight costume is primarily tan and printed with scales and stripes that make up a real dinosaur's leather-like skin. It has an attached long tail, and comes with two-fingered gloves, three-toed boot covers, and a head covering that features yellow eyes with slitted pupils, a long snout, and saber-shaped teeth. The action packed full-body Rubies Original Children's Inflatable T-Rex Costume comes with a battery-operated fan (batteries sold separately). Children should be under 40-inches tall for the best fit. Follow instructions on the package insert for fan assembly and battery insertion. Adult supervision is required for both. After assembling the fan, plug in the power cord from the battery pack. Clip the battery pack onto the clothing that you are wearing under the costume. Turn on the fan to allow the costume to begin inflation and tighten the wrist, leg, and face openings. Put on the gloves and growl like the T-Rex you are! This costume fits most children between the ages of 5 and 7. Made from 100% nylon, this costume is easy to clean. Care instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and line dry. My son loves the costume . Only negative feedback is the size . Fits my son perfect and he is 3 years old . This costume is for bigger kids so I'm sure the actual age it's sized for this costume won't fit . The head section is really tight for my 3 year old so for a bigger kid I could imagine it will be impossible to put on without modification . But either way costume is awesome and gets attention .

This is absolutely hilarious. Every time my son puts it on, I can't stop laughing. I bought this for my 5 1/2 year old,  although the size on the package says boys 8/10.  My son is pretty tall for his age, but I can't see this costume comfortably fitting an 8-10 year old boy.  He completely fills this costume out, with not much room to spare.  My son is on the lean side, so it's not due to his weight. I wanted to share that with anyone looking to buy this costume,  because I was a little unsure when I made the purchase.  Other than that, the quality is good and it is so much fun for my child!

Best costume ever

Wow! Purchased this for my son for Halloween and I'm so glad that I did. He got so many compliments  and even win a first place ribbon for his costume. He had so much fun wearing it and I'll be praying it down to my younger kiddos. High quality and a great price!

My nephew loves this and so do I.  When he put it on, we laughed so hard!  This Dinosaur costume looks so real & it's lifesize (he is 5 yrs old).  He says it's the best Christmas present ever & I believe it bc he doesn't want to take it off! I highly recommend this costume.

Love it!

This was absolutely hilarious when she put it on, but it was too small!  Nine years old, a tad taller than most, but not crazy tall.  PLEASE put an approximate height and weight on the dimensions.  We were able to sell the child's size to a friend and we ordered the adult size.  A bit worried it may be too big.

Silly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looked great at first although it is meant for a 6-7 yr old. The foot hit him in the knee. We blew it up to try on and figured it would work. Let it down to travel and once we put it back on, the zipper broke. Fixed that problem and it stopped staying inflated about 15 min later. He was super let down.

Disappointing

The product says one size fits all for youth. The desciption says 8-10 and gives measurements. My very thin 9 year old couldn't even get his head in the costume. The legs came  to his knees and he fits the height mesurment given. We found it fit the neighbors 6 year old. Be aware the sizing is way off.  Wouldn't want your child to be as disappointed as mine was.

Sizing off!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It did work as specified, but it should've listed clothing sizes with it.  My son is only 10, but he's a big (14/16) 10 and the legs came up to his calves.  The sleeves were also short on him.    The only size guide is that it's for "6  years" which really isn't helpful.

Disappointed

This costume is awesome, or at least it would have been if it fit!  They have no business putting 8-10 on there unless they specify its for the smallest 10 year old possible.  My son is average height and weight for a 10 year old and the costume couldn't  have even been adjusted to fit.  He was heartbroken because to go to an adult size, it would have been $100.  Such a bummer.

Cute but....

Bought this for the birthday of a now 6 year old, who is small for his age. After trying it on it was obvious the face portion fits a select group of people and was too small for him. After cutting the elastic it was able to fit but is no longer air tight. A great idea, looks just as nice as the picture but make sure you purchase this for a small child!

One size fits no one

This costume is way too small. It would not fit my 6 year old son. We returned it. The spot you put your face is so small, I doubt any child 3 and up could fit through it. Do not waste your time or money. Not worth the tears from your disappointed child!
