Akoya pearls are produced in several varieties of saltwater mollusks in Japan and China. They were the first to be cultured in the early 1920s and are the most popular pearls used in strands and earrings. These are beautiful pearls, and the price is the best I have found anywhere. The pearls were shipped very fast and arrived in a nice box with a pearl case inside. I would definately reccomend these pearls. Also you can call and ask for the certificate of authenticity from Sam at 877-365-6333.

Would buy these pearls again

Purchased as a gift for a new Grand Baby.  Checked out jewelry stores and online pearl sources.  Sam's Club beat prices by over half for same AAA rated pearls, plus having the ease of returns to a store if not satisfied.  These pearls are beautiful.  My pearls are between 60 and 30 years old purchased at different times in Japan.  I always thought my pearls were so fine until I put them up next to these new pearls.  The color and luster is  definitely AAA.

The best quality jewelry, beautifully wrapped, & sooo fairly priced. These pearls are perfect. Lustrous, uniform in size & color, and the weight! Pretty delicate gold clasp. Should have seen her face when she OPENED THEM! Couldnt ask for more, let me tell you! Please... never go away. Ive got a lot of kids!!! And... I kinda love gorgeous jewelry too!!!

Pearl Necklace

I purchased this necklace in March 2019. I tried to research the various types of pearls in hopes to find something nice, yet affordable. This necklace was both. I used the number another reviewer provided in order to get a certificate of authenticity. That number is 877-365-6333.

Very Pleased With Purchase

Pearls are beautiful, but they look smaller than 7-7.5 mm.
They came in an ugly, misshaped box with no price tag and no certificate of authenticity. I would have to take them to a jeweler so he could tell me if indeed they are Akoya pearls.
Very disappointed with presentation.

No description

Read the other reviews and several people complained about little red dots on some of the pearls. Not sure if they use the dots to drill holes, but mine also had them. Some of the pearls also had weird imperfections on them like they had been sprayed with some sort of coating and it had pooled at the bottom of them into a big blob. Spoke with the company who shipped the pearls about it and they said they would contact me about getting a replacement necklace. Followed up with them twice and no one facilitated a return or replacement.  Spoke with Sam’s club who said someone from the jewelry department would contact me but after calling twice and leaving my contact info twice I have not had any one call me back yet. 

Overall very disappointed in the quality and customer service.  I ordered a different necklace from a different wholesale club and even though they were slightly more expensive the quality of the Pearl is a lot nicer. Disappointed with the way this turned out.
