About this item

Product details

Pearl Milling Company Original Syrup

Bring a touch of sweetness to your breakfast table with Pearl Milling Company Original Syrup. Perfect for drizzling over pancakes or waffles, this syrup promises to make your mornings a little easier and a lot sweeter. Though the brand may seem new, Pearl Milling Company has a rich history that spans over 130 years.

Legacy of Pearl Milling Company

Originating from a small mill in the vibrant town of St. Joseph, Missouri, Pearl Milling Company utilized a unique pearl milling technique to produce flour, cornmeal, and the renowned self-rising pancake mix formerly known as Aunt Jemima. This beloved pancake mix has been a staple at breakfast tables for generations.

Rebranding Journey

Last June, PepsiCo and The Quaker Oats Company, in a commitment to reflect their core values, decided to change the name and image of Aunt Jemima to Pearl Milling Company. The rebranding aims to continue providing the same great-tasting products that families have cherished for over a century, while inspiring significant moments around the breakfast table and within communities.

Commitment to Community Impact

With a strong dedication to making a difference, Pearl Milling Company developed the P.E.A.R.L. Pledge (Prosperity, Empowerment, Access, Representation, and Leadership). This initiative is designed to address societal obstacles faced by Black women and girls. In recognition of the significant role Black women have played in the brand's history, the P.E.A.R.L. Pledge will focus on funding organizations that help bridge gaps in food security and provide better access to financial and educational resources for Black women and girls.

Tasty!

Our neigh or kids are not used to the taste of maple syrup at our home when visiting, so I keep this in my pantry just for them. They love the flavor. Great on pancakes, waffles, french toast, roasted carrots, and roasted brussel sprouts.

Best ever

I’ve been using this syrup since I was a kid. My kids grew up on it, and it still has the best taste of the syrups I’ve tried. It’s too bad that they couldn’t leave well enough alone and let “Aunt Jemima” live on with her namesake. No one deserves that. We like french toast, waffles and pancakes occasionally for breakfast and this syrup goes well with all of them. A lot of people that have stayed at our house started using this brand after they’ve had it.
