The King's Hawaiian Original Dinner Roll Story

King's Hawaiian bread got its start in Hilo, Hawaii in the 1950s by Robert Taira, a young man with a big passion for baking. Using the best local ingredients, Taira created a bread that was irresistibly soft, fluffy and just the right amount of sweet for a taste like none other.

King's Hawaiian sweet bread became a local staple, spreading through the Hawaiian Islands and eventually to the U.S. mainland, bringing a little of the Aloha Spirit to breadbaskets and sandwiches from coast to coast. Today, the Taira family's legacy and original recipe continues, showcased in everything from King's Hawaiian rolls and round breads to mini sub rolls, hot dog and hamburger buns. What's the Best Way to Prepare King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls?

Like all King's Hawaiian sweet bread varieties, these Hawaiian rolls taste soft, sweet and delicious right from the bag. For the softest, fluffiest, warmest rolls, heat them at 300 degrees Fahrenheit in a conventional oven for two to three minutes. If you like your King's Hawaiian sweet rolls a little crispier, heat them for four to five minutes. This value pack includes two 16-piece trays of rolls, ready to heat and eat.

What can you say about kings Hawaiian rolls that hasn't already been said. We absolutely love these rolls. We use these dinner rolls all the time for different meals, this time they were used with the smokehouse brisket we purchased at Sam's as well, used these with the barbeque meat as small sandwiches, perfect for all eaters, big eaters or small.

Very tasty for small sandwiches

They are soft and tasty. I buy them and wrap them two at a time and freeze them. When I want a small sandwich or two they take about 15 minutes to thaw and then are like new for a quick bite.
