I picked up Organic Snipped Green Beans from Sam’s Club and was impressed by how fresh and sweet the beans tasted right out of the bag. They’re convenient, organic, and cook up tender-crisp — great steamed or sautéed as a side. Overall a solid, healthy everyday veggie option.

Fresh and crisp

I have tried many brands of fresh green beans. I like these the best so far. Crisp, crunchy and have a nice sweet taste. We eat them raw, steamed or grilled. The pups even enjoy a few as a snack.

Deliciously crunchy.

We buy two bags of these a week, and love them!!! Occasionally we get a bad bag, but the customer service people are quick to help us exchange them.

Great Tasting Beans!!!

My first time trying these.  I didn't use them all for one meal.  I do feel you need to use them up as soon as you can as they will not last.  I had to pick through them and cut off some of the ends and bad spots.  I would use them again if I have a large gathering.  For two people, it's too many.

Bagged green beans

I find these are hit or miss, but lately it’s been a miss. Beans turn brown after following microwave directions, some come out smoochy, hard or half cooked, are tough and stringy.

Not as I Hoped

I enjoyed the flavor of these organic green beans and might consider buying them again. They were fresh, tender, and tasted great. My only complaint is that the 'strings' were not consistently removed from a lot of the beans. I often had to remove the fibrous strings during preparation, or worse, discovered them while eating. While the flavor was excellent, the inconsistent trimming was a big disappointing.

Fresh But Inconsistent!

I've bought several bags of these over the last few months but I'm done.  They are consistently way overgrown before being harvested.  They have large visible lumps which are the actual bean seeds growing inside the bean pods which indicate they are too mature before harvest.  If you like that, fine, but my family prefers the younger more tender beans with no bean seeds inside.

Spoiled beans

Over the past five purchases of your organic green beans (from three different store locations), I have consistently encountered the same serious quality issues:

The beans are slimy with brown and gray rotting ends.
Approximately one-third of the beans in each bag still have the stems attached.

Despite the bags appearing acceptable from the outside, the contents are frequently spoiled, making a significant portion unusable.
This consistent problem has eroded my confidence in the product, and I have regrettably decided to stop purchasing your organic green beans altogether.

Repeated Poor Quality of Organic Green Beans

Bad quality, green beans were slimy and inedible when received. I will only purchase dry goods and frozen items for delivery going forward. Fresh items always seem to be expired, or very near expiration, leaving no time to enjoy. The returns process is punitive towards customers, requiring items be returned in person. If I had time to hang out at Sam’s, I wouldn’t need the convenience of delivery.
