Nostalgia Indoor Electric Stainless Steel S'mores Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a fun item to use with my kids! Here in Oregon the weather isn't always nice enough that we want to sit around a fire while camping to roast marshmallows and make s'mores. With the nostalgia s'mores maker we were able to make our s'mores from the comfort of our home. It is an electric stove with no flame. The unit itself was pretty easy to put together. I loved that it came with the bowls that go around the outside to put the marshmallows chocolate graham crackers in. This helps keep everything organized, and I utilize it to portion out how much each child was allowed to have, haha! It worked out perfectly for our family. We just needed four sections and that's what we had. This product came with little forks to put the marshmallows on so that we could roast them, they kind of remind me of fondue forks. My kids loved it, although teaching them to not put the marshmallow on top of the burner has been the biggest hurdle. They just keep touching the metal.. we have found that you do have to hold the marshmallow pretty close to the burner in order to get it to warm up properly because it takes a little bit of time for the marshmallow to cook and roast the inside tends to melt faster, making it hard to keep the marshmallow on the fork but as you use it, you will learn exactly the angle to hold the fork. The cleanup is really easy, the bowls around the outside were easy to disassemble and put in the dishwasher. We've really enjoyed this product and have used it multiple times with my three boys. They are 15, 10 and 7 and they all love it! Thankful to have the opportunity to receive this product for free in return for our honest review. Highly recommend this is a super fun thing to do with a family or even for a date night inside.
