The Natural Amethyst Oval ring is absolutely stunning. The amethyst stone is large and set in 14k gold. The craftsmanship is superb and the prongs holding the gem are almost flush with the stone. This will help to ensure that it doesn't catch on clothing.

This ring is STUNNING, with the amethyst gemstone making it so unique. I love the yellow gold band and prong setting, it adds great contrast to the purple in the amethyst. I like that it also has a little weight to it, it's not too heavy but just perfect. Overall this is an amazing ring!

This is a nice ring. The stone is beautiful and quite sizable. The prongs are secure and the ring is comfortable despite its large size. I do wish the ring were made with white gold instead of yellow. I feel the purple of the stone and the yellow of the ring don't go together as well as white gold would have. But, if you like the color combination, it's a great ring!

My initial reaction to this ring was how lovely the color of the gemstone is. However, my second thought was it looks a bit like costume jewelry. This may be because of how large the stone is, but also the band and prongs are a bit thick and brassy. Overall, the stone itself is a lovely color, but the band doesn't seem to match the beauty of the stone.
