Specifications

  • Use Instructions: If you are under 18, consult a doctor before using Nicotine Polacrilex Lozenge; its effectiveness for this age group has not been studied. Read the User’s Guide for comprehensive instructions and information. Start using the lozenge on your quit day. If you smoke your first cigarette within 30 minutes of waking up, use the 4mg lozenge. If more than 30 minutes after waking up, use the 2mg lozenge. Follow a 12-week schedule: 1 lozenge every 1-2 hours for weeks 1 to 6, 1 lozenge every 2-4 hours for weeks 7 to 9, and 1 lozenge every 4-8 hours for weeks 10 to 12. Do not chew or swallow the lozenge; place it in your mouth and let it dissolve slowly, moving it occasionally from one side of your mouth to the other. You may feel a warm or tingling sensation. Avoid eating or drinking 15 minutes before and while the lozenge is in your mouth. Use at least 9 lozenges per day for the first 6 weeks to improve your chances of quitting. Do not use more than one lozenge at a time or continuously use one after another as it can cause side effects like hiccups, heartburn, and nausea. Do not exceed 5 lozenges in 6 hours or 20 lozenges per day. It's important to complete the treatment. If you feel the need to use the lozenge for a longer period, consult your healthcare provider.

Mints good! FedEx BAD!

The 5 star review is for the mints. I've used them for years. Affordable and effective. HOWEVER..their shipper (FedEx) is ABYSMAL! I've had problems with delivery for months. Over two weeks waiting now. I wish Sam's would put these back into stores.
