I was pleasantly surprised to see the return of this product back at Sams!  It's been 5 years too long in getting it back in stock. My husband and I really enjoy this soup and will continue to buy it consistently.  Thanks!

Absolutely delicious!

I love Tortilla soup and have been disappointed at some restaurants.  This is really tasty especially with some broken tortilla chips sprinkled over the top for the crunch.  This has a great blend of flavors and is on the spicy  (but not hot spicy) zing.

Better than some restaurant soup.

I am not usually a fan of ready made soup, but Chicken Tortilla at Sam's Club is an exception. My husband loves it. It is filled with substantial ingredients with thick btoth. Great Mexican flavor. Generous two container packet provides four generous servings. I recommend it.

Delicious Ready-to-eat Soup

The soup was flavorful and easy to eat. It reminds me of chilli with chicken, but it was a soup. If you like tomato based entrees, it will be a hit in your kitchen. Good buy.

Nice chicken  soup

This is so good.  I'm very picky with packaged foods but this is so good. Most of the time I'd prefer to make my own soup but this soup is so very good.  The chicken is good and the beans are nice.. The base is seasoned just right.  I have already purchased this a second time.  I put it in the freezer so I could keep it longer.

Outstanding - almost like homemade

I gave this a try as I have really enjoyed tortilla soup in different restaurants.  I absolutely love this soup!  I'm a big fan of having tortilla soup at Outback, but this is just as good if not better.  Totally enjoyable.  Glad it comes with 2 containers because 1 container goes very quickly!

Better than the restaurants

Had tried this one other time, probably a year ago, and loved it! Then couldn’t find it anymore… Noticed it was back recently and bought two! My family had them eaten in less than a week and when I returned to buy more they were completely gone again. Is this only a seasonal item and only stocked in limited amounts?? Because that’s kinda cruel to get a taste for it and have to wait another year. lol Seriously though, it’s our family’s favorite soup! Bring it back and stock it regularly!

Absolute FAVORITE

All good. The soup is flavorful and taste good. You will need to add tortilla chips avocados amd sour cream.

Better than Dining out.

The Members Mark Chicken Tortilla soup is more along the line of a red southwest chicken soup. It has a nice, some what spicy flavor. Not much tortilla chips. I put extra in my soup. I would suggest taking the soup out of the containers it came in and heat in a micro safe bowl or ion the stove in a pot. The plastic is not that strong and a bit flimsy when warmed.
Back to the soup, rich flavor. It can be doctored up by different add in. More chips, maybe for veggies and even more chicken for a thicker stew like dinner. As a quick meal on a rushed night, serve as is with chips of warm buttered tortillas. 
I will buy this again. Great to have on hand for a quick meal. The soup have a long shelf date. This adds to the convenience of keeping it on hand.

Tasty and comforting soup.

I've wanted to compare this Chicken Tortilla Soup to the same soup from the "other major wholesale club."  So a few days ago, I bought a two-pack from both clubs.

Comparing the two at the same meal, I found that I liked the Member's Mark version a bit better. It tasted more like the tortilla soup you might get in a Mexican restaurant.  It was spicy without being too spicy.  It had the right mixture of vegetables and types of vegetables that you would expect in traditional tortilla soup.

The soup from the other warehouse club seemed more like vegetable soup with chunks of white meat chicken tossed in.  It was fine and not terrible in any way.  But it had too many large chunks of tomatoes for my liking.

The only place where the Member's Mark version didn't match up was with the chicken.  There wasn't a lot of it and what was there didn't seem as tender as that from the other warehouse club.  And while it probably was "white meat", I seemed to see some chicken that didn't look all that white.  

If the Member's Mark version included a little more and better white meat chicken, I'd give it 5 stars.  Still with everything considered, I preferred the Sam's Club version to that of the other warehouse club.  Both are good, but this one is the one we will buy going forward.

Good, Could Use More and Better White Meat Chicken

Usually this is one of my favorite soups and the first purchase was good.  I went in the next week to purchase it again and didn't bother to check the date because on the first purchase it's best by date was six weeks in advance.  When I got home with the second purchase, I noticed that that it's best by date was in four days.  I guess that Sam's has no quality control in making sure what they bring into the store is of good quality.  This soup has not been in stock until just recently so there is not excuse for this.
