Lifetime Dash 6'6" Youth Sit-On-Top Kayak, Paddle Included

We’ve gone to the lake with this a couple times and had a blast! Our older son tried it and he weighs 153 and he said the 150 pound weight limit was pretty accurate as it still worked for him but he said it wouldn’t have handle much more. My eight, 11 and 15 year old love them. Paddled all over the lake!

Pros: I am an adult and it met my purpose for a short and lightweight kayak that I can carry easy (only 21 lbs) and fits inside my car (only 6'6"). It is 150 lb weight limit and I am 130 lb adult and it floats me very well and just fine and also I'm 5'10" tall and my legs fit perfect on the last foothold. It is fun. You can use a carabiner to hook a tiny cooler to kayak, but it will get wet. Cons: because it is short when you paddle it does wiggle right and left a lot. I was able to get used to it and figure out the best paddle placement to minimize the wiggle. I got where I needed to go fairly well. A longer kayak would be faster but it would not fit in my car. This short one provides my purpose of getting a workout, I don't need to go fast. It is very prone to tilting and throwing you out the side if you don't have good balance. I did not get thrown out because I adjusted where I paddle, farther away from the kayak, and I have good balance. Power boats were blasting by making waves and I did not tip out. So not a big deal, but be aware. You get used to it after 20 minutes and learn the kayak's behavior. The seat back is not very supportive at all. I am going to have to buy a better supportive seat. You will get very wet, the scupper holes are where your butt is so water will be in the seat. Plus it splashes up on the feet calves area a lot. Kayak sits very low to the water. Fun though, great on a hot day to get wet. I like it a lot and will keep it and have fun and get a workout and adventure. Love the lightweight aspect the most.
