I have always bought LG tvs. The quality is spot on. I now own three LG television's. 
I find that the quality and build is exemplary.
I bought this one only a few days ago and i have it in my bedroom.
The setup is really easy.
Picture quality is superb.

I purchased this product two weeks ago as a replacement for my Toshiba that’s LCD elements were on the fritz. The colors are deep enough to provide plenty of contrast, and while I’ve heard from some that the AI is too smart? I rather enjoy being able to turn my screen off and still listen to whatever the program is while I fall asleep. Best thing ever, especially, after being in 911 for the last 24 years. No complaints so far!

I have it combined with a sound bar, which has been terrific for my wife and me, as it makes dialogue all the easier to understand — we are not young!

Great picture; easy controls

I have always wanted a larger TV in our main room.  This 86" replaced a 65" and the difference is amazing.  Plus this is a 4K and at 86", I can see the difference.  Curved images appear very smooth, without the usual jagged edges.  Colors are very true and has very deep blacks so the contrast level is much higher than other LED TVs I have viewed.  I also like the remote, it is easy to operate and very intuitive.

Great value for a BIG screen!

TV arrived well packaged. Wall mounting instructions were supplied although I had and existing wall mount which I adapted easily. The TV was actually lighter than the smaller one it replaced!

Setting it up with my wifi network was easy, although there were no instructions for Magic Remote which took some getting used to. In fact I had to go to LG website to get a user manual for the set and remote operation as I had a bit of difficulty with some operations. A Quick Setup Guide would have been easier. 
Eventually managed to replace the Apple TV remote but I'm still having to use the Manhattan set top box remote, the only standard options were Sky, Virgin and Roka boxes. It might be buried in there somewhere in there. 
Quality of picture and sound is outstanding.

This is an excellent tv for the price.  It’s HUGE! Picture is great, considering it is not QLED OR OLED.  I’m sure paying between 50%-300% more for either of those technologies would give a little better performance, but in my opinion, not enough better to justify the additional cost. This 86” tv uses a faster processor than the smaller TVs in the 8000 series.  The remote is well thought out and easy to use, but could use backlighting.  The only other minor issue I have had is reflections from room lighting, but overall a great TV for the money.

Excellent value!

The TV is not bad for the price, although we are experiencing some screen blooming and ghosting. We have tried to mitigate this by reducing the backlight/brightness etc, but it's still visible on darker backgrounds. We would've given a five star rating if not for this issue.

The ability to connect to the internet and access various free channels is excellent. The categorization and access to other sources of movies, series, and music have been well implemented. However, a problem I've noticed occurs when watching 4K, 8K, or 12K films. The color grading of the images noticeably changes during viewing, indicating a weakness in the TV's processor for image processing. This issue is not very apparent on smaller TVs but is quite noticeable and problematic on an 86-inch TV, showing that the television struggles with image processing. Another aspect that LG needs to address is the limited selection of films available on its channel, which could be more extensive and varied. Currently, the selection is limited to Hollywood, while there's potential to include Arabic, Turkish, Indian, and Korean films.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought I new 65 in 4k UHD Tv. I was very disappointed because I have LGTV from before and has been very happy with the quality. But this new tv the processor was very slow and interface is also not as friendly as before. Also the quality of picture is not as great. Ended up returning it and bought an OLED instead
