I have made many Lego Technic Model sets over the years and this one seems to pack all the characteristics and traits that makes a Lego Technic Model so special.  From the realistic scale details to the functionality and playability there is virtually nothing missing to make this the perfect Lego Technic Model.  I did have some challenges with the arrangement of the pneumatic tubes but like others mentioned it just requires extra concentration and studying the directions.  Once finished it was a great feeling to see everything function properly.  Great job again on this one Lego!  Highly recommend!

My husband completed the Ford GT and we both have to admit how cool that car really is. It almost looks real and almost tough enough to play with after assembly. It DEFINITELY takes your complete FULL attention to put it together! The flowers were not near as tedious to assemble the floral arrangements.

I can't talk specifically about this product, because it was purchased as a graduation gift, and it hasn't been received yet.

My son has been waiting for this to come out, he loves Legos. He is very pleased with it and said it took him 5 hours to put it together,  he is 16 years old.

My 7 year old grandson loves Legos, it doesn't matter what the age says on the boxes. He can build almost anything with directions or without. He is just getting into the Technics

This Lego was one of our kid's summer projects. We do not help him build. He's 4 yrs old. He asked me why the section of the tubes was not working. I, my husband, and our sitter (who is very proficient in Legos) examined the problem. I called Lego about how the section wasn't working. The lady was very kind. She told us about the 3D building app--we did not know about this. We pulled up the 3D builder and the directions for the tube section are completely different than the booklet. The system works when using the 3D model. 
Overall though, I am not a fan of the stability Lego. But, I absolutely love the giant machinery pieces. Our kid likes to play with what he builds. This model is a bit fragile. Often little parts will pop off. One of the tubes came off inside and I had to spend hrs taking pieces off (and trying to memorize where they go back) to reach where it had to be re-attached.
