Since my grandson will not be with me for Christmas Day, he got to open his presents early. He was So excited as he opened the gift; he exclaimed,”Oh boy, it's just the Lego I wanted- the Rebel Starfighter!” As soon as he finished opening his other presents, he immediately ran to his room to begin tearing into the box and started building the Starfighter!

First and foremost, you can’t really fit the figures into the ship very well. It’s pretty small and the underbelly doesn’t seem to fit figures at all. At least not cleanly. But I love this set. It comes with some cool figures and I think it looks great. It was fun to build and even though figures don’t fit in it very well I think it’s pretty to scale with mini figures. I enjoyed building it and have it on display in my room. If you liked Andor or Rogue One you should definitely get this set.

just finished watching Andor/Rogue One and had to have the U-Wing plus awesome figures of Cassian and K2SO plus my favourite figure Dedra Meero
 -easy but enjoyable to build and no missing parts!
-even got 2 hairpieces for Cassian!
-love the swingback wings and lower cargo area

The Rebel U-Wing – A Must-Have for Any Andor or Star Wars Fan

The Rebel U-Wing is as iconic as they come, especially for fans of Andor. This set captures the spirit of the series and is a must-have for any Star Wars enthusiast.

The build is smooth and satisfying, with several interactive features that enhance both play and display value — from spring-loaded missiles and movable wings to a detailed cockpit. It's versatile in how you can show it off: upright like a launch-ready rocket, in full flight mode with wings extended, or with wings folded in for a sleek docked look.

Size-wise, the ship hits a sweet spot — though I do wish it were just a bit larger or priced slightly lower. Still, it’s a solid, well-designed model. My only critique is the inclusion of the ISB Tactical Agent minifig; swapping them out for another more prominent character would’ve been ideal. That said, the lineup still shines with Andor, Dedra Meero, and K-2SO rounding out a fantastic minifigure selection.

I got this Lego set for a fan of Andor. It was easy to assemble and looks great. My friend was very pleased.

Wonderful gift

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a decent set for Lego Star Wars.  The original price was way too high (like so many Lego Star Wars sets lately) so I was happy to get this at a 20% discount.  I would not have bought this set at original price.  The set has some fun play features for kids and the minifigs were nicely done.  For the original price this set should have been made bigger with the cargo doors designed to swing outward per actual movie design and a dual cockpit using a Speed Champions - like windscreen width.

This set is full of desired characters. The build looks very nice, it is a little inaccurate (sliding door in the movie). I like this U wing better than the old one.

Excellent minifigures and the ship looks great but for the price it would have been nice to be a little bigger and have the doors open correctly. The previous version was about the right size but I do appreciate the better details and building techniques of this one.

Great build but has a few flaws

It’s a great looking ship with cool functions for the price. The missile blasters, the wings and the cockpit opening mechanism are really cool. But it’s a little disappointing I can’t fit more than one mini figure in the cargo hold. I can’t even put KS20 in there without him rattling around. But still recommend it, I had fun building, and playing after!
