Pixar is a core memory for me. From their shorts, to their feature length movies, to their tv show style animations, they mean a lot to me a person. Seeing more Pixar Lego sets has brought joy to my soul. The Luxo Jr. lamp set is no different. This set has a lot of small details on the inside, like most Pixar movies. I won't spoil it but the base build was some fantastic and nice additions that I didn't expect. The whole build is fun, allowing you to stand the lamp on the ball, or have it nearby. You can also 'pose' Luxo Jr. just like in the opening credit for Pixar sheepishly 'looking' at the camera after squashing the letter 'I'. It's a fantastic set for sure!

This Lego set it awesome - highly recommend getting the compatible touch light that is recommended when added this to your cart cause then it’s not only hitting nostalgia but also actually get to use it like a light!

This set was really fun to put together! I’m not a big technic fan and there are a few technic pieces. It didn’t take away from the build for me though. Lots of little Easter eggs to Pixar movies. Def worth the price!

You might think this is just a model lamp but it has a lot of thought that went into the design. There are several easter eggs that are pixar references.

I was really looking forward to building this set as I had my eye on it for a while. 

Some part of the build was confusing as where they attached did not necessarily match the pictures. Further, I felt the more I went into this build, the more fragile it was. It fell apart several times as I continues to attach the sides together. 

I was happy once it was finished as it is very cool once built, but overall a frustrating build.

Great final product, but flimsy build

The images are slightly misleading in that they all show a solid bulb inside the lamp and it is in fact two plastic orbs with a significant gap between them. it's unsettling how much it does not look like a lipo! otherwise it's fantastic

I expected so much more from this set. It's small and underwhelming for the price. It's a quick build, but could be so much better. It includes easter eggs, but they are quickly covered up as you continue to build.
