I have used Leatherman for years and bought these for Christmas gift. I highly recommend Leatherman as they are a quality product and operate properly.

Leatherman is a great multi tool, this was great price. I use them all the time.

Handy tool

This Leatherman did not have the normal variety of tools that I am used to with the Leatherman name. Disappointed and it has been opened so not really returnable at this point. This is what Sam's Club does to a good and reputable quality manufacturer of goods to omit important features in order to offer a lower price and still get a large profit. Live and learn.

LACKLUSTER

It’s worth the price.  I’ve definitely spent much more at the Leatherman store on other tools. This it is definitely a budget tool.

Budget tool

Never owned a Leatherman before - - or any other mult-tool or swiss-army type knife - So maybe my expectations are unrealistic. 
The plier spring quit working on the first one I bought.  It worked for about a week, and I never even used it.  I just opened it up a few times to admire my wise and shrewdly acquired treasure.  
I took it back to the store and used my refund money (thank you Sam's Club) to buy a replacement.  But the replacement has poor build quality:  There's a not-insignificant gap at the cutter and pliers jaws when they're closed. (I'm attaching a pic). 

Meh.  I'm unimpressed.
