Little Giant Ladder Storage Rack

The Little Giant ladder rack is sturdy, with a good design for attaching to studs located 16" on center. Screw hole wells are located near all four corners of the rack, and it comes with four 2 1/2" long flat-head wood screws. The part of the rack that attaches to the wall (excluding the hooks) is 2" deep. The entire rack (including the hooks) sticks out 6 1/2" from the wall when mounted in position. The rack hooks provide 4 1/2" of actual hanging space between the front of the mounting brace that attaches to the wall and the curved part of the hooks. I bought this for a 22' Vulcan Type 1A multi-task ladder, and it works fine. When my multi-task ladder is in the storage position, four rungs end up side-by-side at each step. This is true for Vulcan, Werner and Little Giant multi-task ladders. The Little Giant rack hooks do not protrude far enough to hang all four side-by-side rungs on them at the same time, but they easily hold two of the four. This seems to be adequate for securing a fairly heavy ladder in place. On the plus side, the shallower depth of the hooks makes them less likely to get in the way when the rack is not holding a ladder. This might be important depending on how high off the floor you mount the rack, or if it is mounted in a place with heavy foot traffic nearby. The Little Giant ladder rack is an expensive way to hang a ladder, but the quality, style and design are excellent.

I have had 2 Little Giant Ladders for years and I cant believe I have been without these storage rack hangers. Easy to install and ladders fit snug to the wall. Best price anywhere and a much better system and safer then the flimsy lite metal hangers I've been using. Recommended !!!
