Kinder's: Handcrafted by People Obsessed with Flavor

In 1946, World War II Navy veteran John Kinder started his own butcher shop in a small storefront in San Pablo, California. Over the next seven decades, John built a reputation for commitment to quality, family service and amazing flavors. At the age of 90, he was still showing up first and helping customers find quality ingredients to make clean, delicious meals for family and friends. Kinder's carries on Grandpa John's legacy. They show up first. They treat you like family. They are obsessed with quality. And they hope you love their flavorful seasonings and sauces as much as they do.

The Kinder's Difference

Kinder's takes flavor and quality very seriously. Each one of their products is handcrafted with only the highest quality ingredients. They never use any artificial flavors, fillers or additives—just premium seasonings for meals the whole family will love.

Worth it

I create alot of seasonings for smoking and grilling. I'm a bougie chef to say the least. I try to make my own when possible, but this is one that is worth the space in the cabinet. It can handle a heavy hand, and doesn't overpower the taste of meat from an expensive cut, particularly a good waygu steak. When you're spending money on quality ingredients you never want to go cheap on seasonings and preparation. I spray my steaks with olive oil and then generously coat all sides. Let rest and bring the steak to room temperature before cooking. If I'm not using the smoker or grill, a good cast iron pan works great too. Happy cooking!
