Thank you for including me on this taste test. I thought it was perfect in the fact that to me there were just the right amount of visible beans and nice and creamy.  It reminded me of the days I would go to the local dairy for lunch and have a very similar chili and a tall glass of Ice cold milk.  Love it! This would also make an excellent dip for corn chips.

Loved it

I was so excited to be able to try this chili, not only is it full of flavor but it creates many meals in one. One dinner day I can have it as a side of chili with breadsticks. Another day I can have it fir the family as nachos drizzled on top. The possibilities are endless. Let's not forget the flavor of  great beef and beans with a kick of flavor. It awesome and a great chili choice.

Wholesome healthy full of flavors

Overall a very good chili IF you like mild chili. Husband and son both approved and loved it on a chili dog. Does contain wheat though, so not gluten free.

The chili had great taste what could've been a little spicier. Maybe they'll go to two kinds of chili one spicy and one regular. I put it on a hotlink with cheese and onions and it was excellent. Overall it was very good and I would buy it again.

You won't be embarrassed serving this chili. It is definitely made fresh. Restaurant quality. It is mild if you prefer spicy chili just add your favorite hot sauce. If you compare it to canned chili it superior by far. Even if you don't stop making your favorite chili recipe when you don't have time this is great to top high quality hamburgers and hotdogs. And don't forget about chili nachos. It has plenty of real beef and not to many beans.

You won't be embarrassed serving this chili

This Beef Chili was surprisingly good for a quick meal. The product was thoughtfuly packaged in 2, 24oz tubs which allows you to keep the unused portion fresh longer. The chili is well seasoned. It has enough spices that made the chili shine, and yet it's not overpowering. Saltiness level is spot on. The product is mildly spicy; my young children (11 and 8) were able to eat it with no issue. Beef, beans, vegetable ratio is decent; however if you're expecting chucky beef in this chili because it's the second ingridient on the list, you might get disappointed. 

In order to leave a more thorough review, I ate the chili cold, at room temperature, hot, and with a hotdog and bun. When cold and at room temperature, this product has the perfect consistency for a chili; the beef, beans, and vegetable ratio to liquid was spot on if you prefer a balanced chili. When hot, the chili has a slightly unpleasant mouthfeel but is still good. The consistency is a bit unbalanced when hot; it's more on the runny side. The unpleasant mouthfeel comes from the liquid portion of the chili. The product has a much smoother mouthfeel that is slightly slimmy when hot. When eaten with a hotdog, bun, and mustard,  the chili doesn't shine as well. The chili flavor were drowned out due to the other flavors, and chili is a little runny for this purpose.  

Overall, this chili was surpringly good for a quick meal. My family enjoyed this chili, and my children were sad when we ran out. I would've given this product a five star rating if it wasn't for the slight unpleasant mouthfeel when the chili was hot.

Thorough Review

Overall, I liked this chili.

Flavor:  Good flavor, not great.  It's very mild and I suppose that's appealing to the majority of people.  I like chili with a little more "kick" to it...something with more spice.

Texture:  It's also a little too "soupy" for me.  This chili is almost like a chili "sauce" rather than a hearty, chunky meal.  I'd prefer to see chunks of tomato, meat, etc.  This would be really good on chili dogs!

Convenience:  It's very convenient.  Obviously, it doesn't last as long as canned chili.  But, It's more convenient to store leftovers in the resealable container this chili comes in.  It's very easy to just scoop out a serving, put the container lid back on, and put it back in the fridge till you're ready for more.

Price:  It seems pretty pricey for store-bought chili.

Other:  It has 7g of sugar per 1 cup serving...but no added sugars.  Overall, the list of ingredients doesn't appear to be too bad.  I'd prefer less sugar but that's just me.

So, it's good, not great.  Pretty typical taste for prepared chili...nothing that makes it really stand out from the crowd.  Convenient packaging.  Needs more spice.

Good Flavor, But Very Mild

A quick meal.

I receieved this chili for a review. The packaging and everything looked great and made the food look good. I heated up the food to taste it. The food to me was bland, with not a whole lot of flavor. With it being a beef chili and beans I expected the beans to be more whole and not so chopped up. It was all just kind of a mush. My wife was not a big fan either. My two year old son ate his whole bowl and appeared to like it.

Ok Chili

1. Not tasting the tomatoes, onions or peppers
2. Enjoy the spiciness of the meat and beans
3. The chili was hardy with enough beans and meat.
4. No after taste
5. Enjoyed the meal

There is not alot of beef or beans in this.  Mostly onion, lots of tomato and peppers.  I heated 1/2 a container and stopped after less than 10 bites (with cheese).  The meat had connective tissue then I found a blood vessel and other tissue.  Yuk.  This is low grade.
