Hormel Chopped Ham 10 lb.

I bought this because it is so much cheaper than buying individual smaller packages. Since there is no way I could eat all this before it spoiled I cut the loaf into sections, then I wrapped each section in plastic wrap and placed it in a freezer ziploc bag. I wasn't sure how good it would freeze but I was pleasantly surprised when I thawed one of the packs in the fridge and made sandwiches, it tasted every bit as good as before it was frozen. The texture and taste did not diminish at all.

This product is excellent for those wonderful fried ham breakfasts, sandwiches, small chunks added to mac and cheese for the kiddies. It is not like the awful spam kinds of pressed ham it is nicely textured and would pass for regular ham easily if fried or grilled.it is really excellent for ham salads and alone cold. Initially I bought it as a protein alternative for my pet and tried it myself and fell head over heals for this great product.Value sells it. My home meat slicer easily handled it.
