Process

Gran Centenario Tequila remains a family-owned business and is still crafted in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico at La Hacienda Los Camichines. Gran Centenario Añejo is crafted from 100% agave and aged for approximately 16 months in new American oak barrels, resulting in a uniquely smooth, sweet and high-quality spirit. It is distilled from carefully selected blue agave and aged in new American oak, to achieve a 100% agave tequila of unparalleled smoothness and quality. The First Maestro Tequilero Lazaro Gallardo is claimed to be the first tequila master distiller (maestro tequilero) in history, as he created the Selección Suave process. By this process, he would only pick the richest, smoothest tequila and blend it together, creating a product with superior quality. This process is still in place while producing our tequila.

Ingredients

• 1 fl. oz. Gran Centenario Añejo Tequila
• 1 fl. oz. Sweet Vermouth
• 2 Dashes Orange Bitters

Garnish

• Notched Orange Peel

Instructions

1. Combine ingredients in mixing glass
2. Add ice and stir
3. Strain into a coupe glass
4. Garnish with a notched orange peel, perched on the rim
