Gold Medal Shav-A-Doo Snow Cone Ice Shaver

The Gold Medal Shav-A-Doo Snow Cone Ice Shaver is a compact yet powerful machine, perfect for locations with limited space. Its ¼ HP motor can shave between 200 to 300 lbs of ice per hour, depending on your pace. The machine features a stainless steel construction with a striking blue powder-coated top and bottom. The sturdy cast aluminum hopper and pusher handle can accommodate crushed or cubed ice of 2-3 inches in size. To operate, simply fill the hopper, position the push handle, and apply downward pressure while pushing the momentary switch. The machine will start making ice instantly. This unit also includes a safety feature that prevents operation without pushing the momentary switch. Clean-up is a breeze with the removable sno pan. The unit comes with an ice scoop, drain hose, and sno dipper. For best results, use harder ice for a finer snow and softer ice for a coarser snow.

Gold Medal is the best!

This is the second Gold Medal Sno Kone machine I have owned; the are still made in the USA and are of the highest quality. My first one was made in the 1970's, and this one is nearly identical (except for the plastic pan). This machine works great, was packaged well, and looks awesome. Don't waste your time or money on other brands; Gold Medal is the BEST!

Just what I was looking for!

I own a small concession business and I was looking for a high quality machine at an affordable cost. I found this and upon receiving it I was impressed. It shaves ice very efficiently and quietly. The size is just right for a small trailer or tent set up. The only downfall is the hopper holds about 2lbs of ice so it has to be refilled frequently.

purchased for church events, kids love sno kones, easy to use and clean, quick at kicking out "sno". perfect for VBS, Fall Festival, etc. Really thrifty deal if you have ever rented one. Clear plastic seems a bit flimsy, comes with half door opening. Surprised at how quickly we went through syrup.
