Love the nuggets!

Makes a lot of nuggets (ice), more than the less expensive ice makers on the market. You do need to "clean" the unit once a week and then change the filter once a month. However, cleaning the less expensive machines was a pain since you had to wash it by hand. For the GE, you use the descaler powder, change the filter and you're good to go. (Well, I think you're good to go since I haven't owned it for more than a month yet.) You do need to place it close to a sink to facilitate easy draining.

This makes the best ice and makes it faster than I was anticipating! Setup was simple enough. The tank is helpful because I think I would be adding water frequently without it. Best purchase I’ve made in a while!

This is a nice durable ice maker. It's a little bit heavy but well built. Very easy to install and makes great ice crunch cubes. This ice make is a very quite unit compared to others we have had. My wife loves this ice maker.
