Happy to see this deal come up on Sam's. I've been following this product and knew it would be closing out before the Fexix 8 came out. It does a remarkable amount of activities and detailed stats that one could need.  It is an excellent buy while still available!

Feature packed GPS watch!

I've had this Epix for about a year now and decided I should give a rating for anyone interested. I'm very happy with this watch and Garmin overall. I'm a long time fan boy of their products (I own a Marine Chartplotter and an RV GPS). I think their best feature is usability. The UI is familiar yet feature packed and everything just works. No wonky software, no botched updates and very durable. Everything I need in a smart fitness watch and nothing I don't. I'll get another Garmin when this one ages out .

Garmin makes the best GPS %26 Fitness Trackers. It doesn't have exactly as much integration with my iPhone as an Apple Watch Ultra, that means I look at the Garmin Connect App rather than Apple Health App for the same stats, %26 text through my phone rather than watch. For the GPS %26 activity tracking it's worth that trade.

I was gifted this watch by a friend who isn't a fan of Garmin. Best gift ever! The battery lasts forever! The screen auto-locks when in an activity so if I bump the watch on something, the stat is still running. It's not too heavy but is a solid. They discontinued this line but I would re-buy this watch every-time. Zero complaints.

Love It!

I started my hike/backpack watch use with the Garmin Fenix 3. Once you learn which buttons are linked to which features, it is easy! I love how easy it is to view the watch face especially as I get older! The one thing to keep in mind with all smart watches, you need to update the watch on a regular basis.

Its a fantastic watch for running, hiking, outdoor sports….you name it.  This is an excellent upgrade from my Vivofit HR, which i loved.

Does everything you could want a watch to do

If you're tired of a certain fruit watch dying by days end, the Garmin Epix is your next purchase.  Dozens of features, hundreds of face options and a battery that lasts well over a week.     The Epix is stylish and so much cheaper than any fruit watch.

Great purchase!

Had for 2 years and love it! Favorite features: easy-to-read display, long battery life (at least 1 week under heavy use when display is set to the default), a list of key metrics when I wake, sleep score, phone notifications, and activity tracking that updates Strava. Negatives - none really other than perhaps that the charging cord can be a bit finicky and needs moving around, but the replacement doesn't require that, so just replace the cord if that happens to you.

Fantastic watch

This is a phenomenal watch and because it was a 2022 release, you can get it at deeply discounted prices now, i only have two issues with it:

- The elevation data seems to always be over stated compared to strava and even other garmin models. Somehow I havent been able to figure that one out.

- garmin has stopped sending new updates to it, for example, Fenix 8 has rucking but our generation (Fenix7/Epix) will not get it and this is a business decision. Our watch is perfectly capable of being able to host a rucking app which allows you to enter pack weight etc BUT they just don't want to send it!

I bought for the sole purpose of the dog tracking thru the Alpha 300.  Linked fine but then wouldn't leave the map page.  Spent 2 hours in the phone with support, they couldn't figure it out either.    Next day happened to hit a different sequence of buttons and it worked - per the written instruction it should not have worked.  
Once working, I liked the function of the dog tracking but in the Pro View the directional arrow is too small.  It's hard to see at a glance - you have to really look at it which somewhat defeats the purpose of the watch.

I have had to return this watch as the screen went wrong on it. The watch I now have constantly resets itself and one of the buttons has become atucky
