You can fluff it like you would a bed sheet, slightly lifting the flooring to introduce air underneath it to help position it into your desired location. It should also be level and free of any major cracks or defects. <h3>Can I use double-sided tape with a G-Floor® installation?</h3> Double sided tape should only be used on the leading edge of the mat, at the entrance of the garage, if needed. Most of the time, the parking pad is heavy enough and tape is not needed. We do not recommend using double sided tape around the perimeter of any parking pad, as it can cause the center of the mat to buckle. &nbsp;

The G floor mat is very high quality supple material , even in 35 degree temps it unrolled and layed almost perfectly flat, the next day it was as flat as can be. I ordered a second mat the same size and that came so fast I couldnt beleive it. Oh by the way this was the best price anywhere with free shipping.

Purchased this mat for to put in the garage / workspace.  Works great under the lawn mower and woodworking equip.  So easy to clean and looks great.

Great flooring

Pros: looks good, durable, cuts easily with a box cutter, doesn't move once it's laid out on the floor.

Cons: after a couple weeks it still isn't completely flat, maybe next summer will flatten it the rest of the way. Shipping packaging was flimsy and there was some damage from where it was slid across a rough surface. Smells pretty strongly of chemicals.
