we were really comfortable on our 2.5 hour trip. our backs & butts didn't hurt. we really liked the adjustable foot rest. it helped stay in the seat better. the only thing we noticed that we didn't like was the little clip on the right of the kayak that hold the paddle, your had will hit it.

Considering how hard it is to find kayaks now and that these from Sam's are out of stock, I am very glad to have received them. The shipping company almost left without delivering them, so that was a close call too - but they arrived on time despite other shipping confusion. The kayaks are not heavy but not light at 48 lbs. I store them above my garage door so they are out of the way, but getting them up there is of medium difficulty. They track fairly well in the water, but not as good as the longer kayaks that I used before. The back storage area (with a lid) really needed an integrated dry-bag to make it better - just plan on using a water proof bag to store items if this area is used because the inside of the boat will get wet. The wheel on the skeg is useful for self loading / unloading on a concrete boat ramp. The seat is pretty comfortable too. Remember to adjust the foot rests inside the kayak (they are set for a very long-legged / tall person and will need to be adjusted in for most persons). I say this because one might not realize they exist since they are so far forward. I am looking forward to our next kayak outing with these two boats.
