What a fantastic men’s packable down jacket by Eddie Bauer!  Lightweight and but definitely warm with layering!  It has great StormRepel which sheds moisture so it does not soak into fabric!  It has zip pockets for keeping items secure.  It packs into hand pocket!  The color is a true green and the fit is true to size with a little extra room for layering!  Definitely highly recommended!

Packable Lightweight Down jacket

This jacket will be very useful when the temperature changes or is raining.  I have difficulty find women's jackets with sleeves long enough for me, even going so far go buy 2xl. I decided to get a men's medium and I was surprised the sleeves are well past my wrists. I also like the feature to add extra fluff for additional warmth.

Cold weather jacket

The Eddie Bauer jacket is very comfortable, and fits true to size.  The jacket is very well made, and the stitching is great.   There are 2 very big pockets on the inside that can pretty much fit anything.   On the outside there are the common pockets on each side, and one on the top left.   All 3 outside pockets have zippers to protect any of your valuables.   The jacket is very warm even though it isn’t very dense.   You could fold this jacket up very small for packing, which is great for hikes.

Great fit

This high quality jacket is stylish in appearance and offers a tremendous value. I wear this jacket with a hoodie (adds a hood) underneath to battle any cold weather conditions. This is by far my favorite purchase of 2025.

Ultralight and 650FP!

I’ve been really impressed with this Eddie Bauer packable jacket. The quilted design has a nice classic look, and it feels warm without being heavy or bulky. I’ve worn it in different weather conditions, and the water- and wind-resistant fabric really holds up—great for running errands, being outdoors, or just everyday wear. I also love that it packs down easily, which makes it super convenient to travel with. Overall, it’s a high-quality jacket that feels practical and stylish at the same time.

Warm lightweight and versatile jacket!

Very comfortable and well made.  My son is loving this Eddie Bauer jacket so much he wants to wear it in the summer temps of 90 degrees.  He cannot wait until winter.  This will be very warm.  The color is a beautiful deep green.  The jacket has some inside pockets to hold stuff.  Very nice jacket. I highly recommend purchasing this.  It runs a little big.

I’m ready for cooler fall temperatures with my new Eddie Bauer jacket. Warm yet lightweight enough for comfort. It surprised me how lightweight and comfortable it really was. Pure style of Eddie Bauer with comfortable, durable material. Fall ready!

Fall Ready!

The down jacket is lightweight and comfortable with plenty of room.  My husband is a large and it fit him well. He has room to add another shirt under for layering as an option. Having the ability to fold the jacket into the pocket makes it handy for travel. The dark green color is trendy and stylish.

Buttery soft to touch, lightweight jacket great for fall season. Nice hem length, roomy, generous sleeve length. You cannot go wrong with this choice!  I love this jacket and will definitely consider buying as a gift for my husband

Beautifully Made Very Stylish!

Very light weight, water-resistant coat. I wouldn't say it is a winter coat because there is no hood, but I like a hood for when it gets windy and that's why I only gave 4 stars. If you are one who likes a winter hat over a hood l, I think you'll be okay to use this for winter or for another layer when trying to stay warm. I didn't get the opportunity to try this coat when it was cold, so I am not sure how wind resistant it is, but it was comfy and warm when trying it on. There are 3 zip closed pockets which I absolutely love so I don't lose my gloves. Bonus is the coat can be folded into the one of the pockets and be zipper closed for easy traveling with it.

Warm, light weight and comfy

This jacket is not as thick as the same jacket from earlier years.  The quality isn't as good.  I put it on and immediately found feathers on my shirt every time I removed the jacket. I had purchased the same name-brand jacket a few years ago.  It did lose feathers, but only after about 3 years and 1 washing.  Even then, the number of feathers was very minimal.
