Great experience with knowledgeable staff. The gentlemen that helped me were all kind and courteous. My car requires the front driver’s tire to be removed to get to the battery. They were all gracious even though my car required extra work for them. 
I purchased my last battery from Sam’s and it lasted almost 7 years! The associates were all surprised with that. 
They installed a new, same brand battery, in a short time to get me on my way. 
I will always come to Sam’s for my battery needs.

Excellent battery with plenty of power

I just pulled this out of my 2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP and I had written the date on the side 04/2014. So a little over 6 years later it finally died which is remarkable in the Florida heat which tends to just suck the life out of car batteries in 4-5 years. The OEM AC Delco battery that came in the car new only lasted 4 and a half years by comparison.

I began my search for a battery at the parts store down the road. You know, the national parts zone with the word auto in front.
I should've known that my Sam's Club would be the place to get the best bargain.
By purchasing this Duracell at Sam's, I got a better battery, ( 690 CCA vs 640 CCA) for SIXTY dollars less. I was stunned that Sam's beat their price on a comparable battery by SIXTY dollars.
AND, the Duracell is made in USA!

Shoulda known

Priced a Group 86 battery at all the usual chain auto-parts outlets and even a battery specialist store (the one with a + in the name), All were $119 and up for a 640 CCA battery (690 for the battery specialist). This battery is 690 CCA, and manufactured in the US by East Penn/Deka - a quality battery manufacturer. The 3-year replacement and free install were the icing on this particular cake (a couple places wanted from $5-15 to install), and the young men that handled my vehicle were respectful and cheerful.

Saved $40+, had a slice of pizza and a walk around the store, and they were done before I ever got back! You bet I'm pleased.

Quality battery at a reasonable price

Long term review, bought battery May of 2018, it is now March of 2024 and still going strong, will make it past 6 years and will test it before the winter of this year (Ohio).  Well worth it compared to overpriced options at auto parts stores.

Bought Duracell Type 86 Battery 7 years ago. Will buy another one. Was $30 cheaper in 2018 but considering the price increasing of everything that is not bad at all.. still $60 cheaper then auto parts store too.
