More cars are moving to a higher performance battery such as the AGM battery. The Duracell AGM Automotive Battery is made to handle extreme weather like no ordinary battery can. Use it in SUVs, LTVs, APVs or any car that requires an AGM battery. What Is an AGM Battery? Absorbed glass mat, or AGM, battery design allows the electrolyte to wick between the battery plates. There is only enough electrolyte liquid in the battery to keep the glass mat moist. If for some reason the battery cracks, there is not enough liquid to leak out of the casing. Can You Recharge Duracell AGM Automotive Battery? The Duracell battery is a fully rechargeable battery. Before recharging, pay attention to the charger type you need to use. Different battery sizes require different chargers. Never leave the battery connected to the vehicle when charging. It is best to remove the AGM battery entirely from the car before joining to the charger. Charge time varies per charger so check the manufacturer's instructions. You do not want to overcharge the battery. Only charge in a well-ventilated area. Note that this is not a deep cycle battery appropriate for marine use. How Do You Maintain Duracell Battery? I bought this battery for my wife's car as it requires an AGM battery and it lasted 3 years and 9 months.  Go figure that it would go just outside the warranty and then have an issue.  There was nothing that could be done.  It was my first battery from Sam's Club, so I ended up buying a replacement.  If the next one does the same thing, I will be going elsewhere.

Worked for the warranty period…then didn't.

I bought this battery on August 10, 2023.  I brought my car to the Toyota dealership on November 29th, 2024 and they indicated that the battery tested bad.  So I went to Sams and asked them to test it.  The service technician said that his battery testing equipment was broken and had been broken for a while.  He suggested that I travel to the next nearest Sam's (1 hour drive).  He offered to sell me a new battery.  What a crock.  Sell a battery with a 3 year warranty and not honor the warranty because they can't maintain their testing equipment.  I will never buy another battery from Sams...

Poor Service and quality

Bought this in Dec 2022 and it failed in Feb 2026, 3 months after the warranty expired.  I miss the 7 year pro-rated warranty that used to be offered.

3rd battery not starting veh. in less then 3 years. dont recommend duracell.

unreliable and doesnt last a year

I GOT THIS AUTO 24 F AGM BATTERY ON 02/24/2023 FROM SAMS CLUB # 06249.
I JUST FOUND OUT YESTERDAY, WHILE HAVING A REGULAR BATTERY CHECK-UP, THAT YELLOW-BROWN FLUID IS LEAKING OUT FROM THE POSITIVE/ + POLE OF THE BATTERY.
PLEASE ADVISE IF I NEED TO BRING THIS TO AUTO CENTER FOR A NEW 24 F AGM BATTERY AS  I  BOUGHT IT JUST WITHIN 8-9 MONTHS & IT HAS A 3-4 YEARS COMPLETE WARRANTY- THANKS;
