The next generation of composting, the Compost Wizard Dual Senior combines some of the greatest features for a compact tumbler that does it all. With compost tumblers, users are restricted to working with one batch at a time. The Dual Senior overcomes this drawback by supporting two batches running simultaneously.

Each 40+ gallon chamber is separate and can compost independently. As with the majority of our tumblers, the Dual Senior is manufactured using recycled polyethylene in Lake City, Pennsylvania. This plastic is BPA-free and FDA-approved for contact with edibles. Setting up is easy. Simply place the composter in a mostly sunny spot (partial shade in hotter climates) and you're done. The composter comes fully assembled.

Easy to use, no-assembly, large capacity composter

I just received my composter so these are my initial impressions. I like the extra-large capacity and overall construction and that fact that there is no assembly required. It's 99% heavy-duty UV-resistant plastic with little to wear out. There are a couple things that I would change though. The drum turns on rollers that are held in place by 4 inch steel bolts. These bolts should be stainless steel but are not. I already replaced mine. The openings to add or remove materials are relatively small due to there placement on the curved circumference of the drum. If the openings were placed on the flat ends of the drum instead they could have been made much larger. On similar models the base acts as a reservoir that collects and dispenses the liquid runoff as compost tea. It would be nice if this model also had that ability. Overall, I am pleased with this composter and look forward to using it.

Good composter with duel chamber

Got it to help with composting . The product seems to be well built but the rivets holding the middle separator was not properly installed. So be fore filling anything I used my hammer on both sides to flatten the head so it won't come separated later in use. And as other reviews had mentioned the screw for the wheels are are not stainless steel so can rust . All being said its an OK buy.

This is why Made in the USA means NOTHING anymore!

First of all you would think for the high price (409.00 to 339.00) they would at least use stainless steel bolts and include washers! Also one hole is drilled crooked, but it still works so who cares! The pictures show a threaded plug on the bottom end of the base, but the one I received has a push in plug in the center of the base. One divider rivet was not properly secured, so I will have to find some other way to secure it so it does not pop out and the two chambers mix. They were in such a hurry to cut the round divider it is not round; it is hacked hastily. If you look at the one I received, they were in such a hurry they did not even drill all the vent holes. WOW NO quality control! As I said made in the USA means NOTHING unless you want to pay a high price for something you have to spend an hour to correct all the flaws! The ONLY good thing about this deal is the sale price at Sam’s 149.00. Maybe that is why mine needed so much work, it is the economy DIY model! This is my first large purchase from Sam’s and I am not impressed!
