The Dexas Prep•Tech Cutting Board is designed to help improve the home chef’s culinary skills. Made with natural bamboo, the large prep surface is 16 inches wide, and features two integrated “tech slots” that can hold most sizes of smart phones or tablets at the proper viewing angle. The Prep•Tech board also has a perimeter juice groove that connects with a corner reservoir and pour spout. That way, all juices from fruits, vegetables or cooked meats can be captured and used to further enhance cooking preparations. The rounded ends of the board make it easy to pick up and pour juices or stock into storage containers.

Everyone loves to search for recipes and cooking videos online, and it's fun to try something new! With the Prep•Tech cutting board, the home chef can view online recipes and videos hands-free by placing an electronic device upright in the slot. Recipes and how-to videos can be viewed and paused easily, giving the home chef time to perfect their skills.

The board is made with natural bamboo which is the more sustainable alternative to hardwood boards. Bamboo is fast growing and replenishes itself quickly. Natural bamboo does need some added care and should not be placed in the dishwasher or microwave. Handwashing with hot, soapy water is always recommended, and mineral oil should also be applied occasionally to restore the warm, natural tones of the bamboo.

You would not regret buying this!!

Wow, this board is super sturdy. i love the wood color and most of all, i love that there is a slot to put a phone or a tablet. i cook a lot and cut a lot of hard fish and meat, so this is perfect for me. i would definitely recommend for someone looking for a long term cutting board.

Great Cutting Board

This is a great cutting board. It has a slot to hold your tablet. It also has a drain area to drain liquids away from food. I did add an extra coat of mineral oil before using since water did not bead when conducting the water bead test.

Definitely a must have!

We love this cutting board for so many reasons! The quality is amazing! I've used my husbands super sharp chef quality knives on it dozens of times and it hasn't scratched a bit. The slots hold our phones or tablets at the perfect angle for both of us and it's wonderful not having our electronics on the counter or propped up on the backsplash falling down all the time. The perimeter juice grooves have also saved a lot of clean up for sure! (Especially since my husband cooks like the chef on the Muppets!) It's definitely a must have in our home :)
