[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazon did have a few pennies lower price with a slightly later in the day deliver time.  I prefer Phillips Hue.  Wal-mart did not offer the product.  GE Cync PAR 38 have never lasted as long as Hue bulbs.  Agreeably the price is about 50% of Hue, but HUE seem to last forever so far.

4.5 stars, but that’s not an option 😁.  We bought four of these two-packs to replace our seven outdoor soffit down lights, primarily because I wanted to be able to change colors remotely rather than going up and down the ladder when I wanted to change the colors (e.g., for Christmas). Once set up, they work well, although I am a little disappointed in the red color, which is either too pink or too orange to my eye. Setting up the bulbs with the app is reasonably intuitive, but several of the bulbs were finicky when trying to connect to the Wi-Fi, which required backing up and repeating the process when the “retry” option didn’t get it. Lastly, one of the eight bulbs did not work properly when changing colors, but Cync support was responsive and after I performed the requested troubleshooting they sent me a new bulb.  All in all, I’m please and would buy more Cync bulbs in the future if the need arises.

Pretty good bulbs, just a few hiccups.

We have three recessed lights on our porch and wanted remote operated lights for the Christmas season.  These lights are fantastic.  They are linked to our home internet and can be controlled by Alexa or our phones.  We can change the brightness and color of the lights as well as programming routines (on at dusk and off at a specified time).  When we are away from home, we can light up our porch for security.

Setting up customizations for different holidays or occasions with it has been fun.

My wife was buying different colored flood lamps for different holidays and that gets expensive, these can be programmed to any color you want and automatically turn on at a certain time or a desk to Dawn. They can fade or do different shows. Highly recommend.

Cync programmable lights are great

These bulbs are bright,  colorful, easy to sync and change colors using the Google home app. One light on each corner of a 1500 sq ft  ranch style home lights up my entire 11th acre backyard!

Good buy!

These are amazing customizable bulbs but they do not last as long as they say they do. I probably average about a year with six hours a day of usage. I don't know if it's the bulbs themselves or the chip inside, but something sooner or later gives.

Great but last only a year

Purchased four for outdoor patio lighting. Love the color sync over wifi feature. Minus one-star for not being Apple Homekit or Matter compatible. Requires an app for configuration.

Great outdoor lighting over wifi

This bulb was a solution to an outdoor light that we wanted to control via our home network. The CYNC (GE) app can be used to set it up but it is not completely clear in how to set it up for coming on at sunset and turning off at sunrise. It is compatible with Google Home and that is also tricky in setting up. After some trial and error we managed to get ours working as desired. We have only had ours a short time so the long term reliability is unknown.

A smart bulb that works outdoors

Thought it was nice that could change colors.
There is a cost to use app needed, who needs an extra cost right now.
